holy moly! i am even more jealous! i applied 30 august 2017 and visa 2 months later. Chef... but still received :(. Did CO ask for any recent documents or you uploaded already the recent one or just the period prior to lodgement?

Nope didn’t ask anything .. MA was attaching all the recent documents on time... nomination and visa approved on same time ... what a lucky Saturday ..

I see we have some very smart people in the group - so here goes - looking at the spreadsheet and working on the law of averages of the past period of the life of the spreadsheet lets have some fun with numbers. I see often the question that can never be answered - how long will it take for my visa to be processed. I cant help but smile at the reaction that question gets. While I appreciate the frustrating wait that many are going through here is a potential answered based on the spreadsheet and the law of averages.

The law of averages says that based in the information inputted on the spreadsheet

With all the data on the spread sheet, on average 85.13 % of visas are granted in

7.55 months

or in

222.9 days

from date of submission.

I see we have accountants in the room and people much smarter than me with numbers so i challenge you to check if my the calculations on the averages are correct - that is the way i see it.

My numbers are as follows - I have been waiting for 5.2 months or 157 days - according to the law of averages I hope to be in the 85.13 % of people and get PR in 65.9 days or 2.35 months from today

So therefore  I predict to receive my PR in the last week of July IF I BELIEVE IN THE LAW OF AVERAGES

Good luck everyone and keep the positive vibes going

we submitted the 186 trt visa on 29 June 2017

in the same company other 3 people submitted the same request in different period but all in 2017 (March June and August) for one of them the CO ask for more document about nomination

is it possible that the CO works even for the other request? Can him see in the same time all the request for the same company?

Guys, thought I’d have a look at my immi account last night to see on off chance if I also would have some luck on a Saturday and there it was before my eyes..... FINALISED!

It all feels a bit surreal. Can't believe it....been here nearly 7 years....have had 2 457s, and even applied for PR three years ago but had to withdraw application due to circumstance at the time.

Like everyone been a long road of lots of stress and worry that it would never happen.

Nomination & Visa - 01/09/2017
186 TRT
2 ppl LR - UK
Sales & Marketing Manager
NSW
Granted 26/05/2018

I've probably been checking this forum every day for the past three years!! (Since my first PR application)

Wish everyone the best of luck especially the regular contributors in here

Mate currently got the champers in hand. Today is a good day!

You’ll get yours pretty soon no doubt. Seems marketing specialist are low down on list,
I have a couple of mates with marketing specialists apps in. Luckily for me sales managers slightly higher in priority list! You shouldn’t worry won’t be long.

Take care all, sure I’ll still be checking this forum daily, old habits die hard n all that.

My nomination had been refused without asking any documents after 7 months waiting. I am so upset.

There are 2 options for me to choose:

1. Withdraw my application so it will not be refused. Re-submit nomination with more supporting documents and re-submit new application. The new process will start all over again

2. Withdraw my application and appeal for nomination refusal

I don't understand Immi refused nomination without asking any information and without stating reasons in the refusal letter. By calling my Agent, they said they think my role is not needed. Then why they approved my 457 2 years ago?

Does anyone had the same experience?

The result of mine is same as yours. But mine got refused coz the training Benchmark did not pay at the right time and no additional information requested. My MA told my employer if he decided to withdraw the application, the application fee the immigration may and may not refund!!! Not sure if it is true? We are still considering whether go to AAT or withdraw !!!

They are not showing any concrete reason for refusal(!), how possible? They must have to issue a written letter.

Moreover, what supporting documents you can think of to prove their decision wrong !!

Sorry to hear that Vejay. I am also thinking what option I should take next.

If resubmit and wait again, and it it is refused, then consider again go AAT or not. But if go AAT now then if they said no as the result then all doors closed

In the writing letter did not mention any reasons. Only mentioned on phone that my position is not needed.

If we decide to re-submit then we have to attach more documents saying that the company needs me and show them more in details what I am doing in that role

AAT also take ages. Currently on the website it said 449 days. But I saw one member in the forum submitted AAT Nov 2016, submitted requested docs in March 2018, AAT's result in May 2018, but lucky that no hearing needed. I think this is a very rare case.

All options take time, money and little hope ahead
