  1. Why not apply for a 489 visa then? Currently open on skills lists in Murray and Southern Inland NSW?
  2. Judging by the last sentence of your quote, would seem that your invite would become void. Might be best to consult a migration agent.
  3. Appears similar situation asked before, see replies.
  4. The question it will boil down to is: “Did you have an intention of moving to NT at time of your application/your arrival?” If one applied to a region knowing full well they wouldn’t live there, then that’s not good. Also not fair to those who don’t just apply to an area other than the one they desire, for the sole reason of getting into the country. Besides, two years there is nothing - especially considering this may be your only option due to age.

  6. You must have your skills assessment BEFORE putting in an EOI. That’s assuming that the registration is part of obtaining your assesssment?
  7. You can only claim from past 10 years.
  8. If they do deduct, then it appears you would need to use an earlier employment too. If you are only able to obtain docs from your current job, then wait 6 months until you have 6 years there.
  9. Seems very few went out, and to those who would receive 189 in a few months anyway.
  10. Did you receive a 190 nomination from NSW? Someone on immittacker at 70 points did.
  11. How,long have you been waiting? All NPRs at 70 points before December 8 have been cleared.
  12. Don’t think there will be any changes until after the elections. 189 invitations were just cut way down during last nights invitation round.
  13. They don’t always drop invite numbers during this period. Two years ago March had over 5000: https://www.y-axis.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/10/Skills-select-Invitation-Results-26-4-2017-Occupation-ceilings.pdf Really not sure how they are getting May or June for you. On January 11 when there were 2500 invitations, they invited up around December 8. Even if there’s only a month gap, that would mean January 8 gets invite February 11... does look like closer to March than June for you.
  14. It’s probably the case of them not updating their websites. I saw back a few months ago some were still saying 60 points was the minimum but that was upped to 65 in July.
  15. Take the PTE test, but study the format and the tips on their site a few days before the test. I took the test the first time without any study, and ran out of time before the 'write from dictation' section which gave me a writing score below 79, but other ones above 85. Then I re-booked, studied for a few days prior, and aced it with flying colours with 90 all around.
  16. Did you have an intention of moving to NSW at time of application, or did you plan to get PR from NSW but stay in VIC?
  17. People front loading everything, medical and Pcc included, are getting visa grants in under 2 months.
  18. 60 days if you have received a skill select invite, think NSW wants their 190 application in 14 days.
  19. It used to be that NSW would send invitations for NSW nominations every second week, on Wednesday’s I believe. This year it seems they are sending these invitation emails once a month, a few days after the 189 invitations to lodge that visa.
  20. What other states have you looked into? That occupation is open in all states except QLD, SA and WA for the permanent 190.
  21. NSW has not done any bulk invite rounds yet for the 2018/2019 migration year. I was thinking maybe they are holding off until they finalize the 5 year regional rule. Hopefully they hold off a couple more months so that my points go up and I can beat out those with non-superior English.
  22. Police checks and medicals are only valid for one year.
  23. Depends on if you would qualify for another RRV. If the visa expires while you are outside, then you will no longer have permanent residence status and will have to re-apply.
