Timeline on 309/100 via applied for in London
Aussiebird replied to Nadine1's topic in Family / Partner Visas
My husband also previously had a partner visa, sponsored by myself and he has just been granted his Partner Visa this evening!! 8 month wait, which is quite a bit longer than the first time, which only took 5 months. This time round, we thought it would have been quicker, but we uploaded alot of evidence etc......no agent or any RFI's. Best of luck!!!! Xx- 3,664 replies

At least you know that the application is being looked at. Great news. Can I ask how many of the upload slots you have used out of the 100 allowed? My partner has used 98!!

We lodged the same date too and not heard a thing, no RFI either. I'm assuming that if they do not need to contact us or ask for for information, then the application is straight forward and should be granted soon? Either that or it's not been looked at yet?

Congratulations to those receiving grants recently. It's very odd how they are not processed in month order at the moment? To see a grant come through with a June 2019 lodgement is encouraging for the rest of us who applied April/May 2019! It does make me question though just how the applications are processed by a case officer, especially when some have uploaded everything that is needed to prevent a RFI? I'm starting to panic in case my application hasn't been done very well!!- 3,664 replies

Getting very frustrated waiting for visa grant!!!!!!!! DOL: 24/5/2019. I see on here that applications lodged in May have had visa granted this month so keeping fingers crossed. With no RFI so far or any contact, I'm hoping it will be a straightforward grant (or at least a case officer is going through the application!! This waiting is doing my head in!!- 3,664 replies

Hi everyone, Just noticed that my sponsorship status on Immi account says "submitted" but other half's on his 309/100 application says "Received ". Is this likely that my sponsorship information hasnt been looked at/received by the Department?? DOL: 23/5/2019. Not heard a thing so far. TIA xx

Happy New Year everyone! Just wanted to ask if it's possible to contact Immigration to find out if our Partner Visa application has been assigned a case officer yet? (London) It really is very frustrating not knowing and the application status still says 'received'. DOL: 23/5/2019. Does anyone have contact details please? Many thanks.

My husbands application for himself is up to 98 documents (limit is 100) although many are individual documents and some grouped, such as photos. Mine as sponsor, I think is about 15 documents. APPLIED MAY 2019. We have been to Menorca in August, Australia in September for a family wedding and last week a cruise. I haven't uploaded any more proof of our travels as have read that it's not necessary if used up almost all of the slots. Then I have read that it's a good idea to add new evidence on a regular basis! I have kept all travel tickets etc etc.....and have many photo's of each time we have been away between August and December this year, so I have the evidence if needed.

Applying for RRV from outside Australia
Aussiebird replied to Tracey Small's topic in Family / Partner Visas
Hi, Congratulations on the RRV grants. We had been in a similar situation as you, my husband had a Partner Visa 309/100 granted at the same time in 2011. Moved to WA in 2012 and back to UK to live in 2014 due to family reasons . Also have been back twice for visits to see my family, husbands travel part of the visa had expired, so he entered Australia in 2017 and 2019 on a visitor visa. He was then told he lost his PR status because we have not been living in Australia for 5 years or more and wouldn't be able to get a RRV, so we had to apply again for another Partner Visa, still waiting after 6 months of applying. Having read your story and success, I am now curious that we could have applied for a RRV and been sucessful, but there is so much information from people that is either true or untrue and never know who to believe!! We was told by a senior migration agent my husband would not get an RRV, yet you applied and got one (pleased for you), so we could have avoided the expense of the cost of another Spouse Visa in the long run. If it gets refused we will appeal on the grounds of misleading information. Wishing you happiness for the future back in Australia. Xx -
We have applied for a 2nd Spouse Visa as was informed we wouldnt have enough substantial ties to Australia, so we are waiting to see if 2nd one will be granted, been waiting just over 6 months ago, provided a lot of information, police checks and medical. Fingers crossed for you, which ever one you apply for.

Timeline on 309/100 via applied for in London
Aussiebird replied to Nadine1's topic in Family / Partner Visas
Our application should be straight forward: Married 17 years, together 25 years, 3 kids (all Oz Citizens by descent) 2 of them adults, 1 15 year old. 2nd Partner Visa application (Same partner). Lodged 23 May 19. Medicals/police checks June 19 (all ok) Uploaded loads, photo's, bills, etc....etc....used up almost all of the slots!!! Thought it would have been granted by now. But then it will be a different case officer this time. There is nothing more that I can think of that they would need to see. We have had 2 holidays this year, but not uploaded anything of them yet, not sure that would make a difference??- 3,664 replies

Are the applications from London being processed in Month order? Feb applications seem to be being granted this month, so ones that were lodged in May I'm assuming will be granted in the new year?? Haven't had any RFI so far so I'm hoping they have all the information they need. The wait is so hard though!!! It's now 6 months since lodgement and seeing as this is the 2nd time I am sponsoring my husband for a partner visa I really thought it would have been granted by now!! Thanks everyone.- 3,664 replies
