Apparently a UK state pension can be transferred to Australia for when he retires in the future, so ive been told by many people. He doesnt have a private pension, he pays into his work pension on top of what his employer pays. Oh its all too confusing!! Wouldnt know where to start with him paying voluntary contributions to the UK from Australia, we know the UK pension cannot be touched until he retires in the future. He is also reluctant to leave his parents so im thinking the above is just to delay going. Many thanks! Xx

Hi everyone, Me and my husband are hopefully going to move back to oz in 4 years time as he wants to wait until he has got 30 years national insurance contributions so he gets a full UK pension to transfer to Australia. Im frustrated at this as its quite a long time to wait and who knows what things will be like in 4 years time anyway! Anyone else got this idea in mind or thinks its not a good idea? Thank you all! Hello everyone, My husband had a spouse visa but it expired this year and we are now back in UK (since May 2014). We are talking of moving back to australia but just wondered if anyone knows if the requirements are still the same, i know the price has gone up massively too. Im wondering if the process time would be quicker as he has already had one in the past. I dont think he can get a resident return visa as we have been back too long in UK now for him to qualify, which is a shame. Many thanks to you all. Xx

Hello everyone, Are there certain health conditions in Australia where the medication is free like in the UK? My husband has medication for life but because of the particular condition, it falls into a category where his medication is free. I on the other hand have to pay for all of mine. People who have hereditary conditions such as high blood pressure and high cholesterol still have to pay in the UK, but someone for example with epilepsy does not have to pay. Many thanks. Xx

His subclass 100 expired this year and as we are now residing in the UK for now any entry into Australia until we move here again has to be a visitors visa as I don't think he still has permanent residency now.

He has got a visitors visa attached to his UK passport.

Hello to you all, I wonder if anyone can advise please? Me and my husband moved to Australia in October 2012 and left in May 2014 back to the UK for personal reasons. My husband had a partner visa subclass 309 but it has now expired. I am an Australian citizen and got a job when we moved to Australia with no problems and he also got a job too. We are talking about now returning to Australia for good but I have seen on line that the partner visa 309 has gone up massively in price. Would he be entitled to a resident return visa 155. It's so much cheaper and would save a lot of hassle going through the subclass 309 again. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you kindly. Xxx
