  1. Yes I'm the Australian one and O/H is applying for the visa. I'm quite an organised person and working out time frame to save for the visa, so I'm just preparing certain thing for it in advance, when money saved up then will start the actual application. A bit premature but it will only be next year he applies, not in a few years time. I havent got totally everything prepared yet so I think I will slow it down, I'm just so keen to get things moving but as snifter says, the visa is likely to go up in price and I have read the sponsor side of it may change. By the time he applies, it's granted and he has made the trip to validate, it won't be long before we make the move so I'm just slowly preparing
  2. The original documents were untouched but coloured, certified copies with stamps/dates of the original documents were sent in with the posted application at the time. So it looks like all of the original documents can be scanned and uploaded as you say. I did send a message to an agent on here but they didn't even bother to reply, which is so annoying. Anyway, I think because we're not going for a few years, even if he did apply for a RRV he may only be granted 1 Year or nothing at all I'm guessing, I think the longer your out of Australia, the less likely he will be granted the RRV? I appreciate your reply anyway, thank you.
  3. Thanks Nemesis for your reply but it's more the fact I think the certified documents I have, have got dates on from 5+ years ago which doesn't make them a current document, I'm worried this will be a problem when the application is looked at by a C/O. Personally as you say, why should it matter if they are certified anyway??
  4. Hi all, I have printed off all the information i need to know about a partner visa 309/100 recently, including the migration booket which is 60 pages long. As it can only be applied for online, information i have been reading about the form says documents that need to be attached do not need to be certified. It doesnt say which documents but the ones i had certified years ago (2011/2012) were documents like my brother and his wifes citizenship certificates, a name change certificate, etc etc..... They were date stamped and some had signatures on.... The visa at that time was granted. I am in the process of getting everything together to apply for this visa again and i would like to know if i can definitely use the documents that accompanied my last visa (it was sent by post then). I dont want to upload everything and then find that the visa is refused or they say i have to get all the documents again. I have posted previously about this but wou,d really like a definite answer if anyone knows for absolute sure. Thanks and kind regards.
  5. Hi all, Does anyone know where any good trails are for off road dirt biking near the areas of Mandurah, etc..... Many thanks!
  6. Brilliant, thank you, I've found all the information I need now. x
  7. Hello to you all Can anyone tell me which website i go on to view the documents check list for the partner visa 309/100 please? I cannot find it anywhere online. Thank you!
  8. Have you read the booklet explaining the process for this type of visa? Its 60 pages and contains all the information you need to know. I printed it all last night and when we are ready to apply i will keep referring to the booklet for guidance, its very informative. Hope this helps Good luck with your application.
  9. Is all this information very similar when applying offshore for a partner visa 309/100? Looks an absolute nightmare!! I have never done spreadsheets so i would struggle with that! Not doing ours yet but its great to see what has to be done.
  10. What about children under 18 who are dependant but got citizenship by descent, do they have to be included?
  11. Hopefully someone will have some answers for you. I dont know if you can apply by printing off all the relevant forms, adding all the evidence/documentation required then posting it? Thats how we did it years ago for my husbands partner visa, no agent needed, it was very straight forward. From what i read on here now, it all sounds complicated and seems can only be done on line now?? Good luck with your application though
  12. Many congratulations! Wonderful feeling isn't it! Great to know of the recommendation for this agent. Xx
  13. Hello, I wonder if anyone can advise please? I am a qualified phlebotomist with 4 years experience, working in both the UK and Australia. I have looked at some jobs advertised on seek and some require a cert111 and clearance to work with children. When I worked in Australia in this job role, I wasn't asked for either and we didn't take blood samples from very young children, they were referred to a local hospital. Does anyone know how these certificates are obtained please? Many thanks. Xx
  14. Hello everyone again, Really sorry to be posting about this visa again! Husband now just wants to see if he would be sucessful with the above visa. He went online to his immi account to start the application. He answered all the questions but nothing flagged up to attach any documents, but at the end, the price came up to pay $365 then submit the application. He hasn't made the payment yet as just need clarification first. I am assuming once the money has been processed the case will be looked at and supporting documents etc will be requested etc....... OR does the fact payment was requested, mean that no further information is needed? Our plan will still be to apply for another subclass 100 visa if the above fails. Thanks in advance x
  15. That's right, yes things do change sometimes!
  16. No, we are still married, he has already a partner visa in the past.
  17. Hello to you all My husband will be applying for another partner visa subclass 309/100 and we still have all the certified documents that he used for his previous one which was granted at the time (2012). My question is this: Has anyone RE-used their certified documents for other visas or the same visa? The documents are stamped and some have dates on, but just wondered if he is able to use them or have to provide New ones? Many thanks in advance.
  18. Hi to you all, A decision has finally been made for my husband to apply for another partner visa. As we are not yet ready to move back to Australia just yet (3/4years) we want our son to finish secondary education and we have a lot to sort out too and will give us time to save for the visa. A RRV 155 visa is not in the running now as we are not going imminently and if it would have been granted by the time we go, it would probably have been a 1 year visa or not at all. We now need to channel all our energy into gathering everything we need for the application in the very near future. His previous partner visa was on paper and he sent the application/supporting documents etc by post, but i see now it can only be applied for online. The only things i would like advice on please are these: Im trying to locate a check list for the application but cant find it on the internet? Has anyone had to include photos in their application? Has the form changed in the last 5 years? I know he is not applying straight away but to get a heads up before he does will be of great help. Thanks so much to everyone who has advised me on citizenship/RRV 155 visa information previously. Xxx
  19. Weve just had a fee quote with an agent of $600 first, then $3,250, had no idea it would cost that much!
