  1. I can't remember if i had to select 189/190 as I only did the 189 application, I think this is just to determine which tests you need. I think they are both the same so it should not matter...but I do not have experience here. There should be no option for the 189/190 now, to do this you log in to your EOI and click apply once invited, you are then transfered to Immi where you can then log in to your Immiaccount and the visa application is then transfered to that, during the application it will ask for HAP ID so don't forget to put it in ehre even though it is in the same account.
  2. You can send off for the police checks now, no need to wait for the request. If you create an Immiaccount there is a section to create the HAP ID for the medicals, generate your HAP ID and complete the basic questionaire and you will get a refereal letter, once you have this then book an appointment for the tests. Once you lodge your application you log in with the Immiaccount you have already created, it will also ask you for your HAP ID during application. I did both of these once I had submitted my EOI (Sept) and finalised them by Oct, my invite was December and I got a direct grant straight away (1 week) as I preloaded these at point of application. The only downside to doing them now is that you need to enter Australia 1 year from the date of the police check or the medical, whichever is sooner.
  3. I assume your 70 points includes maximum points from English? I did the IELTS for my skills assessment and got 7, I then did PTE-A for my visa and got 100%. The last round (4th Dec) let 45 accountants in vs the pervious 5 being 25 and these were up to 21st September, however there are enough spaces for 300 per month but I think they are holding back on letting them all go. I would assume you will get an invite with 70 points, if they continue at the new level of 45 per round this should only be a few months to wait.
  4. Well this came quicker than expected! 1 calendar week more or less to the hour from submitting my applciation I received my direct grant email!! Our house also went up on the market at the weekend so all is moving quite quickly now! Time to start planning I think as no idea where we are going yet, we fly to Sydney but that is as far as I have planned, we do intend to travel for a bit before fidning work.
  5. We used Graham Penn at Stevensdrake in Crawley, it cost £160. You have to use a Notary or Justice of Peace, I rang around a lot of notaries and all quoted similar price, the courts in crawley and redhill have JOP there but they were quite expensive.
  6. As soon as you have paid you can upload. Login and click attach documents underneath each persons name. There are suggested documents but you might not need all of these items, you can also add extra documents using the button at the bottom.
  7. Sorry then I am not sure, when I filled in my 189 application the other ngiht it had pulled a lot of inofrmation from my EOI.
  8. Are you filling in the expression of interest or the actual application? Assuming you are filing an expression of interest then this would determine how many points you get and therefore you select the one you have more than, so 3. If it is the EOI and you selected 5 it would give you more points which you do not have and this would cause issues later in the application. If it is the application itself then I am not sure.
  9. Ah sorry I did not mean to give out bad information! I read something along the lines of do not manually generate a HAP ID if you have been invited, but I did it before I was invited and now the box simply says complete. Plane ticket is all sorted for June, my medicals/PCC were October so no issue here for me. I just have to hope I've done everything right in the form and I actually get the visa or else I am just going on a holiday in June!
  10. Yes if you have now applied you need to wait to be asked to do the medical, you can do the police checks now though if you wanted. I did the medical before applying although there is not much need as I have plenty of time. We have the estate agents around today/tomorrow for photos and floor plans, the earliest we can sell is 1st April due to early repayment on the mortgage but they said that it is fine to put it on the market before Christmas. The flight is booked for 3rd June but if it means we have sold we would be happy to go in to temporary accommodation for a couple of months. I used air miles for my flights so had to book them a year in advance to get the availability, it means we are going business class for very little £ cost and this includes 100kg of luggage each which will be needed!!! We've been together 10 years, but I’ve only really got documentation of the last 2 years. I've wrote and uploaded it now anyway as it can't do any harm.
  11. So I can see several threads for different months but no December so I thought I would start it! I received my invitation on Friday 4th and have just completed the application as well as making payment! I had the PCC and medicals done a month ago so they have been uploaded straight away with all of the documents I think I need. The one area I am unsure of is proving the de facto relationship, I have uploaded mortgage documents, council tax bills, joint bank account statements, old personal bank statements with money transfers between the two of us, a few photos. I've also wrote a letter explaining our relationship; when it started, where we have lived, our plans etc. Does anyone know if this is needed? I will print, sign and scan it but I can't do this until Thursday so just thought I would see if anyone else did this. We've booked our flights for 3rd June, so lets hope I have filled all of this in correctly! Good luck to everyone else and thanks for the help this forum has provided over the past 6 months or so!
  12. You do not need to tell them until the end, you receive a letter explaining what to do etc. and this states you have 90 days to validate the application by providing the requeired ID. It then says if you need a year please let your case officer know. So telling them now will probably confuse them/complicated things!
  13. You are not registered as a nurse until you present yourself and finalise the application (this assumes you don't have all the requred ID at application). Therefore you should not have to renew your registration as you are not yet registered! Do not forget to email your case officer to inform them that you need the year to present yourself in person, the letter states that your applciation will be withdrawn after 90 days by default, it tells you a year is acceptable, but you have to let them know you want this option.
  14. Yes people can undertsand you, but you have to think to read what you are writing, as a native English speaker if you wrote in standard English I could speed read, I have to think about what you are writing before my brain processes it! This could be because it is early and I am half asleep though When communicating on a forum you should not shorten your words.
  15. I am a numbers person so my spelling/grammer is not great but on a forum you should be writing in full English not shorthand, I have corrected this for you in the above quote (this wil lnot be a perfect correction!!). As to your question, now that you have your invitation you have 60 days to lodge the application, once you have made the application and paid the fee you then need to upload your supporting documents. So you still have time to get this letter from your partners college as you would upload it as supporting documentation.
  16. Yup, I started gathering my documents back in April and took my time, not realising it would change and I would need to up my points and also wait this long!
  17. Just a heads up, got my invitation just now as an accountant with 70 ppints, lodged EOI on 13th September.
  18. I think you are mostly talking about ANMAC now which I have not dealth with so can't help here. I did send to AHPRA a copy of the degree certificate which came with a letter stating you will recieve your PIN from NMC in due course, and i attached this NMC letter. If this is not the case now, then they will have to accept what is currently provided you may just need to explain this to the case officer. A note on the dates though, the "countdown" would start when they have everything they need, so if you sent it say 1st October but were asked for more documents and sent these 1st November, if it took 8 weeks this would start from 1st November. The application is checked first before it is sent to be assessed (at least for AHPRA it is) so this is why you may as well ensure you have everything needed before sending it off.
  19. Age 30, Degree 15, Language 20, Experience 5, Total 70 I did a year placement as part of my degree but they won't count this even though it was the same level work as post degree. Also my first job post uni was in accounts payable invoice processing and I was told this won't count. So I only have 4.5 years work experience.
  20. The stats for the latest round are not out yet but I assume they are in to early September EOI for 70 point accountants. With 75 points you should get an invite in the next round in early December. Hopefully I will get mine in December, seems like forever since I started planning this now!
  21. Sorry no experience here so I can only offer advice not what actually happens. If you have a case officer I would email them and say your initial submition only included a copy of your passport and that you now have a copy of your passport and visa thus meeting the full A criteria for identification, ask if you can send these to be included. The other option is to simply send it anyway (certified). From what I've read and the wording of her letter she simply has to show up and sign a few things and you are good to go once you arrive, no waiting around. However we plan to travel a bit before working so I have not been to bothered about this bit as we do not need the pin straight away.
  22. AHPRA is not linked to migration, so I would not expect them to be experts in this area. You need it to work as a nurse in Aus, but you do not need it for the visa which is where GoMatilda specialise. Fit2Work has been required since February 2015.
  23. If you are on your own computer/laptop I use a program to print to PDF, this basically saves a print out for you to print when you have the chance. I am at work so can't get you the name of the program right now but it was free and i've sued it for years.
  24. AHPRA took 8 weeks from posting to approval, I had no contact from AHPRA throughout this as everything was correct first time. My partner now needs to go to an AHPRA office when we arrive in June 2016 to get her PIN. I do not know the ANMAC processing times, but you should be just about able to get there for July: ANMAC by middle Feb, visa invite March, visa grant May/June. Just my thoughts nothing official there.
  25. No, your CV and the Fit2Work are the 2 things which do not need to be certified.
