The girl on the phone said that the request has been sent to AOS team yesterday. if i don't hear back from them next week, pls ring back and they will send another request!!! OMG!!!!!

  9. In my situation, it is hard to find an assurer as i have no family relative here! My friends are all young with family. Also, it will be a challenge as assurers have to take responsibility and liable for assurees’ debts to government. It is funny that eventhough my partner is working full-time, i still have to prove my income enough to cover his costs as he is not pr here. Does anyone know when they will have a result on whether they disallow this rule?
  10. How long will centerlink allow us to provide evidence for income? for example, my income in F16, F17 aren’t sufficient based on a new rules. If i received a request for AOS in F18, can they wait 2 years as i can prove my income for F18, F19 and F20 enough to meet new income requirements?

  14. I submitted an onshore partner visa online for my husband on the 17 May 2016. We have not heard anything from immigration apart from application received confirmation. He is still under bridging visa at the moment. Now i m four-month pregnant. Now it has been more than 23 months since we lodged our application, does anyone know why it could take so long for them to grant visa 820? Can anyone please suggest what i should do to get our application processed faster?
  15. Hi Ramot, Thanks Ramot for your suggestion. As i m living in Melbourne, I can write to Melb Labour Senator in my council. Should I identify myself in the email I send to him? Have you received any response from any senator so far?
  16. Appreciate if someone can help me with a few questions: - if my partner is not an australian resident, can he join me to be an assurer for my parents visa 143 - how long do they allow assuers to submit aos and provide evidence of assuers’ income - If my finance is not sufficient to be an assurer for both my parents in the last 2 years, can i withdraw my application and resubmit it a few years later when i satisfy financial requirements?

  18. I was single when i applied for my parents visa subclass 143 in Dec 2015. Then, i got married in Apr 2017. We will have a baby this Oct 2018 How does this new income rule apply in my situation as my personal circumstance has changed from single to married then with child. When I checked the income requirement for assurers on centrelink website, for two assurers (my partner and I) with a child, we will need to prove an income of appx $123K/year for FY 18. However, do i have to prove that i had the same income in the last 2 years F17 and F16?
  19. Hi All, I would like to seek advice on my situation. I am going to apply contributory parent visa (subclass 143) for my parents and my brother. As far i understand, it will take up to 2 years for visas to be granted. My questions are - Can i get my parents on visitor visa after lodging 143 as they probably want to visit me during the 2 year waiting. - Can my brother apply for student visa while he is waiting for his 143. Thanks and have a great weekend! Suzy
