  1. Thanks @Raul Senise I wish I had of pressed for an online application now. Not sure if you will know this as you only do electronic applications, but when the times comes do you think I can do the 801 part electronically (i.e. upload the requested updated information to prove relationship is still ongoing) even though the 820/801 was lodged as postal?
  2. Thanks @Raul Senise I appreciate that information. In terms of having a postal rather an online application do you think there is much of a difference in processing times? I am assuming those processed by embassies and consulates overseas (which seem to be processed much quicker) are mainly online applications, rather than them posting on the postal applications? My application was postal and I am worried that I am looking at the top end of waiting times because of this. Thanks
  3. thanks @VERYSTORMY are only online applications being processed offshore? I can't see anyone on these forums having a paper application processed offshore unfortunately.
  4. Hi all My migration agent submitted a paper application for 820/801 in June 2017 and I haven't heard anything back apart from the acknowledgement of application. My agent advised not to complete medicals or police checks as they can expire before the visa is looked at. I know we are well within the global processing times advertised but I do see a lot of people on these forums who have had their visa processed really quickly, some within 3-4 months when they are processed overseas. I was wondering if anyone has any experience of paper applications being processed overseas, or even if they are processed in Australia are people noticing quicker turn arounds because of the online applications being processed elsewhere? I am on a 457 at the moment (so didn't go on to the bridging visa) and I am really concerned about the stability of my job, hence why I am hoping for word back soon. I would be really interested in hearing about other peoples experiences. Thanks RoRoRo
  5. Congrats @Muttley We applied onshore on 25 June 2017 using a migration agent and have not heard anything back yet, which I know is normal based on the processing times. On these forums I do see a lot of grants come through really quickly, some as quick as 4 months. My migration agent lodged ours as a paper application rather than online, she also advised me not to do Police checks or medicals as they would expire after 12 months. Do people find that the online applications are processed quicker?
