    There are 'Club' Rego's also, if you have a Classic vehicle and belong to a Authorised Club, I think you can have 90 days for about a fraction of the price, but you need to keep records of when you drive.     Hi all, We are coming to Melbourne early 2016, just wondered who on this site has a classic Volkswagen, what have you got, and what clubs are you in? We have a 1972 Type 2 Bay Westfalia Continental and a 1971 Beetle 1302S, but sadly we won't have enough room for the Beetle in the container!     Yes the money owing is split between them £100k each, it a joint mortgage, so joint debt. The house is for sale, it just means negative equity.     He is close, I think he's going to apply, the house is in ex-wife name as well, it was bought be the pair of them when business was booming, and now it's not, she's is nowhere to be seen regarding any help, so he's just cutting his losses of about £100k I think, he has no way of being able to pay back that amount, and the Bank by all means that his business and mortgage in have been 'not very helpful' is an understatement!     He has had some bad luck, business folded, but he managed to sell things to pay off creditors etc..........but his house he bought in the peak of prices, and now might go into negative equity, so this is the issue.
