  1. If you google UK Bed Sizes and AUS Bed Sizes all will be revealed, basically the UK Kingsize is Queen Size in AUS, and the Super Kingsize in UK is King Size in AUS, there isn't a 2ft6in Single, there smallest single is out 3ft..........it all makes sense when you look at the info. :-)
  2. We are taking our Duvet/Pillows, these fillings are highly cleaned, it's only feathers from Birds that aren't cleaned that I understand are the issue. The shipping company quoted to pack them, so it must be ok. :-)
  3. Thank mate for the kind offer, we are landing in Melbourne. I have a few VW Club mates from Melbourne offered the same thing today :-)
  4. I'm currently doing this now, final hearing 4th Feb, message me if you want any info. Cheers MT
  5. In currently going through the C100 Removal from Jurisdiction process, it's cost me about £250 so far without any solicitor presence so far, we've had two hearings, third is 4th Feb. The whole process so far has taken about 5 months.
  6. So has nobody had any experience taking car seat with luggage allocation, or did you pay to put in the aircraft hold area?
  7. I have six seats, I won't be replacing them. :-)
  8. I knew I heard something like that, but as far as I am concerned, good enough for UK, good enough for Australia.
  9. Hi all, who has come across this issue, we have two kids in car seats, and one on a booster, we need them to travel to the airport, and we need them on the other side, does anyone know what the rules are about taking them on your flight, are they allowed, and are they classed as baggage, or do you have to pay specially for them? Cheers MT.
  10. That's good news, and great customer service as well!
  11. I have been looking at the same details today @paganbronze all I can provide is a letter of redundancy and the sale particulars of my current property that is still for sale, one thing in my favour, I have Australian Bank Accounts. I can provide V50, UK Driving License, Passport and PR Visa, but that's it. The online document states you need a minimum of 100 points of information, but if they don't accept sale of house and redundancy, I've only got 25 points! Cheers MT
  12. It's only me that has PR Visa, all the kids are dual, and Mrs is Australian.............reading the above, that's only me that qualifies?
  13. 3 of my kids are under 5yrs, they too are going to struggle! ;-)
  14. Currently going through the C100 Court process, got final hearing on 4th Feb, if I can help whilst it's fresh in my mind, please don't hesitate to message me anytime.
  15. Dogs, we are paying about £3600 for two dogs including Quarantine for 10 days, but cost depends on size of dog and the crate made for them I thing, ours our Miniature Dachshunds.
  16. Hi All, Trying to finalise shipping quotes, currently have 40ft High Cube for 1400cuft of effects plus a VW Campervan. Quotes vary from:- £5414. £6850 (lnc Australian Quarantine Charge). £6397. £6450. What have you all got regarding quotes so far? Regards MT
  17. Is that to the whole family, or just the person with the PR?
  18. I've read this, and it's slightly contradicting..........or I'm being thick! :-)
  19. You are a star, and have helped me enormously, thank you! :-)
  20. Hi, Just looking into UK Citizenship for my Australian partner. She has ILR and has the Biometric Card. I have now gained PR for Australia, we are off in April/May and want to start the ball rolling. Question:- I've looked at forms, does she have to apply from the UK, as you have 2yrs before you loose ILR entitlement, could she apply from Australia before entitlement ran out? Cheers MT
  21. That's ok, I sent it so you could see update. We have to prepare another information pack/statement for this new Judge, plus we are going to reply to the very late submitted counter statement, so we have completed what was asked of us by previous Judge...........I am confident of us winning, especially as Cafcass report was so heavily in our favour. Cheers MT
  22. Hi @Racmac, thanks. Hope you had a good Christmas & New Year :-)
