    What's the choices of second hand cars with 7 seats in Australia. Currently we have a VW Sharan 1.9 TDI, is there anything similar? When over in 2011, OH friend picked us up in a Toyota 4x4, I think that was a 7 Seater, but not sure? Cheers MT

    Oh, just realised yours was granted yesterday, bloody hell, that's awesome, we might still be December hopefully, that's great news for Christmas, bet the family as ecstatic...........I had Christmas 2011 sat on Miami Beach cooking snags and kangaroo kebabs and Prawns, then I done Roast Beef, Yorkshire Puds and Spuds for the evening. :-)

    Thank you W2G, I can't wait tbh, I've done so much home work, but it's all been off the back of advise on here, I can't imagine tackling this massive excersize without help.............I don't think I could have done it without this help, even though my OH is Australian! Roll on December, we have a court case for my stepson to leave jurisdiction also, going to be busy!! Cheers MT

    We are currently going through the same process Suzy, it's called a C100, and we are asking for 'Removal from Jurisdiction', we have completed the first hearing, we have a second date just before Christmas, and are waiting a interview from Cafcass to present at the next hearing. Any help I can do, just message me, there are some very knowledgeable people on here that have helped my tremendously! Cheers MT

    Hi all, Can anyone advise if there are any short term let properties in Berwick or very close by that we can rent for about 4 weeks whilst we sort a more permanent rental? Are we being optimistic with 4 weeks also? Cheers MT

    Like I said, sorry I don't need your assessment of my post, I will have (and so have you and many more) assumptions I life that will be indifferent and wrong, how we deal with them is our own learning, if we all had the answers it would be a boring life!

    I don't need anyone to give me advise, unless I specifically ask for it, that's how this Forum works. I find this all a bit bizarre, I start an uplifting post to gain knowledge of everyone's reason for coming to this great country, instead we have people ripping to pieces a post, dissecting parts for their own enjoyment, creating negativity to create doubt in a persons mind. I myself have very wide shoulders, will not be swayed in my and our ultimate goal in reaching Australia to start our new life with my very own Australian and our 4 children, two dogs and a 1972 VW Camper!     Mate, I live with an Australian, I have been physically and mentally prepared for my move for the last 5yrs................she knows the country and the problems, we both have decided that's it's a better option for all our family.

    We have had the rabies blood tests completed today, so 180 days from today is April 25th. We will get the results back in about 10-14 days. What further tests for the blood/rabies test need completing before we allocate a Shipping Company? Cheers MT

    We applied in March also Kate, same situation as us, all four of my kids and OH have Australia citizenship/passports. I was hoping to be December/January notification, the only thing holding us back is dogs rabies jabs! :-) Cheers MT

    Tbh, I'm not bothered what it cost, he's still here after a huge roller coaster ride, and will be enjoying a great life in Australia. I didn't cite his health as reason for moving, I said it got postponed because of his health, but it's now back on course. All my children are citizens of Australia and the U.K as their mother is Australian. Cheers MT
