  1. Ours was three reasons, live with my OH who is Australian, but we both were very shocked in the UK regarding the Rotherham Abuse scandal in the news, where the Council and Police were aware of the goings on, but were frightened to do anything because of being tarred with the 'Racist' card..............that tipped us over the edge, especially me, we didn't want to bring our kids up in a country that's frightened of standing up for its own culture and beliefs! Second was, we discovered eldest boy had a brain tumour after our 8 week holiday in Australia over 2012 Christmas & New Year. We made that decision as a family to move when we were over, but because of the issues when we returned it was postponed, but we've had the treatment, recovered, and have started the process again, we have a new family moto, it's one life, live it. Third, we just love the outside type lifestyle, we love sea, surfing, beaches, camping, have a 1972 VW Kombi (as they're called in Oz) and want to complete some traveling, so the kids can look back when older, and see what a great time they had as children. Cheers MT
  2. We had a similar issue, OH passport was destroyed with her ILR stamp within. My CO came back and advised she had to prove she hasn't taken British Citizenship whilst living here in the UK for the last 20yrs. We had to apply for Biometric Card to prove she still holds her Australian residency, as she is the sponsor for my visa. The Biometric Card arrived today after about 3 months, and after a visit to a Post Office that completes Retina Scans! Another item off the check list!!! Cheers MT
  3. We've applied for 309/100 with no joint accounts, but have proof of payments between each other. hope this helps. Cheers MT
  4. It was on there previously, must of been deleted, I've added it again, does this now work? Cheer MT
  5. I am sure I added all my visa details to my signature, can you not see them? Cheers MT
  6. I lodged same time as @CameronsDad and @Annaleis, CO is VF............medical and police submitted 2-3 weeks ago, just sat here reading this post, and counting down the days really...........Oh, and dealing with a C100 in-between, just for added pressure! ;-)
  7. Major Tom

    Snake Repellent.

Other half just mentioned under her breath, Moth Balls and Napfotholene Flakes is a deterrent.
  8. I'm sure we went there to see some Rainbow Lorikeets?
  9. We stayed in Miami in Gold Coast when there on holiday, loved the North Burleigh Surf Club, had Boxing Day lunch their with all the Aussie, great laugh. :-)
  10. Right peoples, we spent the day in Court yesterday. We arrived 45 minutes beforehand to see if there was any chance of some sort of mutual agreement between both parties, but it was obvious, that wasn't going to happen. Cafcass were unable to get hold of my stepson's father through details he advised on his court return papers, so Cafcass asked for a few minutes to go through details with him, and my Partner. We then presented our file, all 45 pages, from doctors reports, clinical physiologist, potential schools, colleges, houses to rent/buy, distances to schools, clubs to join, distances to Australian relations, social media and web medial of fathers 'family' and statement report, so when they were all in front of the judge, he asked for another report for Cafcass, and requested another wishes & feelings report to be compiled by Cafcass by 18th December. My stepsons father, wasn't prepared tbh, he was scibling notes in the waiting room, and refused to read the report we provided before he went in to see the judge. The case has now been transferred to the Distric Judge because of Jurisdiction request, this is likely to be in early January 2016. It has been a bit touch and go gathering all information for the report, but do not even attempt to apply for a C100 without one! Will keep you all updated with progress, next step Cafcass interview. Cheers MT
  11. On great advise, we have completed a file, completed an index, and put everything we can think of inside, we've done 3 copies, one for us, one for my Stepson's Father, and one for the Judge, plus index'd it all so know one has issues with finding certain paperwork....................one more day!!!
  12. @snifter can you still apply for this when you are in Oz and within the 2yr window, or does it have to be completed on home soil?
  13. I've used Go Matilda, doing a partner visa at this moment in time with Ian Harrop, again, very good!!
  14. Do PIO recommend this company even though they are not MARA registered, tricky question that, seeing as the advise is don't use anyone that's not registered?
  15. I've used GoMatilda, they are very good, I think the cost was about £800, but well worth it in my opinion! Good luck! Cheers MT
  16. Couldn't agree more, the first 20 minutes were equal, but by the second half the wheels had fallen off the scrummage, turn over ball, substitutions were smacking of desperation............woefully poor! I don't agree on the French prediction, it will be a Southern Hemisphere final.
  17. You are correct, I have had to find out what the details are, it's back in 1994, I had forgotten about it tbh, it's was a mate MOT'd my car, and when it came to it, the document was dodgy, and because it was my car, I copped it................I spoken to my Agent, he's not worried, but asked for the public access record to be show them when they ask for more details. Cheers MT
  18. I'm leaning towards Puckfords also, they are the cheapest quote so far, although Crown are very close behind.
  19. Just had my Police report back, I was crapping it tbh, had a few nights in some cells in my younger days, came back with 'no live trace' which is good enough I think! :-)
  20. Well I have 1/2 Scottish blood................that's my other choice f£&@ed! ;-)
  21. Perhaps next time............. :-)
