  1. Yes, they do. They are stil stat decs even if they aren't from an Australian citizen, and can still use form 888.
  2. Wow, 2 visas been granted at around 9 months, @Kennellys is even a bit less than that. Hope this keeps up!
  3. You Will go back to the bottom of the queue and have to wait 12+ months like everyone else. You could always go on a tourist visa to be with your wife or a whv if you're eligble. What was the false information you were provided by an agent?
  4. Think it's if you been together 2 years with a child you Will go straight to 100, fingers crossed for you
  5. Hi cameronsdad, mine said the same but I am definitely only getting the 309!
  6. This thread has got me even more worried, I'm doing the opposite, moving from Derbyshire to Tasmania. My partner has a good job there but I am pretty sure I will have a hard time..
  7. If your application was updated after your medicals that means the results have been submitted, my immi account doesn't show any Health Detail link anymore either so wouldnt worry too much.
  8. Try the 'Summary: Spouse visa processing times' thread further down the page, 1000+ pages of useful info there
  9. Yes, I've got lots of tattoos and the doctor said I would only need the extra tests if I was working in the medical field.
  10. My medical results were submitted to DIBP the next day
  11. The status changes to Immi Account have probably been mentioned, but here is a link explaining it: http://www.immi.gov.au/gateways/agents/resources/immiaccount-enhancements/ However, mine has gone from the old 'In Progress', to a couple of days ago 'Assessment in Progress', to today it is back at 'Application Received'. I wonder why? Also, the link goes into to detail about the 'My Health Details' section which is not displayed on my account. I know we are told not to read into anything on Immi Account status-wise, but I think the general lack of communication about the progress of such a life-changing process is quite poor!
  12. Hope you hear something soon! Anyone applied earlier than July 28th and still waiting?

    Johnny Depp's Dogs

I am in the process of paying $10,000 to get my dog to Australia, why should Johnny Depp be above the rules that everyone else has to abide by?
  14. Reading on other forums, it seems it's taking around 2.5 months from receiving the application to the payment being taken, and then another 2-3 weeks to actually get the clearance. I am hoping my payment will be taken by the end of the month! Meanwhile I just got my UK police check back in about 9 days.
  15. How confusing, trying to decipher the immi account is hard enough at the best of times, so I'm glad I'm not the only one with it missing, Bronyaur. I'll go back to assuming everything is ok and sitting tight awaiting the grant.
  16. I'm not sure I'm looking in the right place, but there is nothing underneath the boxes where I upload stuff :err:. I think it did say something like 'organise health' but disappeared the day of my medicals. When I log on to eMedical client, and click on 'Print information sheet', it comes up with the 'your medical has been submitted on 6/5/15' and then: 501 Medical exam - Completed, 502 Chest Xray exam - completed, 707 HIV test - completed. Am I looking in the wrong place or is that what yours says too?
  17. Hi Jac, I hope everything goes well for you all. It's nerve-wrecking isn't it! I'm glad the medical is all over and done with now and one step closer to that visa.
  18. Talking to myself here, but the doctor said if there was anything wrong he would let me know before Friday. As it is now Thursday evening I guess that means nothing to report. On a side note, would recommend Bridgewater Hospital in Manchester, I think it's the cheapest place (although still outrageously expensive) and I was in and out within 45 minutes.
  19. It's only been 2 days, but I thought if the results were submitted to DIBP (and not still 'processing') that the clinic would of been in touch if anything untoward was found before they submitted them. I'm sure I am worrying unecessarily but it would be nice to be kept in the loop!
  20. I'm sorry as this will have been asked a hundred times. The 'Get health details' link on my immi account has gone. On my emedical info page it says 'Your Emedical case has been submitted to DIBP' It says 'completed' next to medical exam, chest xray exam, and hiv test. I am the world's biggest worrier, the possibility of having every illness or disease has crossed my mind. Can I stop worrying yet?
  21. Thanks for the input, will see how it pans out. Seems like try it and see. I assume with a joint hirer/guarantor might help too.
  22. Hi guys Does anyone know the stipulations for buying a car on finance in Australia? I.e is it just you have to be employed, employed for a certain length of time, resident in Australia for a certain amount of time, on a certain visa etc? Thanks
