  1. Hi there, We were granted the 309 back in 2015 and have recently been invited to apply for the 100 permanent visa. Can anyone provide any guidance on what we need to do now? We are already over in Perth so do we have to send our application back the UK (originally submitted paper application to London) - and is the evidence requirement simply what we originally provided but obviously up to date? Thanks in advance! Lauren
  2. Wow just got our grant though! So relieved! Literally so excited to go home!!! Champers tonight!!!!!! Ahhhhhhh
  3. We applied 29/10 and haven't heard yet, hopefully we should hear in the next few weeks! It doesn't seem that there are all that many of us from October!
  4. Wow how exciting congratulations! We are on Eggshells every day waiting, we applied 29th October so hoping to hear soon!
  5. Time scale given was 10-14 months. That's fab, I've set a little calendar of 3 weeks 3 days from your approval to check our inbox. I've found myself obsessively checking it throughout the day now it's getting closer! We are planning to head to Perth hopefully end of Feb 2016, as all my family are there so until we get our feet on the ground it will be a good base! I bet you are so excited now, when are you off?! X
  6. Hey, We applied in October 2014 and since our initial response we have not heard from our CO. Planning on calling up once we hit the 10month mark if we haven't heard anything Will keep all posted!!

  8. Hey, We are applying from Liverpool also and submitted the end of October last year. My partner had his medical done at the spire in Manchester and they advised us at the time that they would not be in touch unless there was an issue, and that if that was the case they would contact us within 5 working days! Hopefully not too long now for us October applicants... September's seem to be going through now
  9. So exciting seeing all these visas being granted, we applied at the end of October 2014 for my partners visa. Been away from home now for 5 years, can't wait to get back to Perth hopefully not too long now until we hear off our CO... Does anyone else have KC???
  10. Hi there, we we ended up submitting paper application in October 2014 and got an email with acknowledgment within 2 weeks, providing details for what to do ... Ie. Arrange medical for partner after 29/04/2015. We then had a whole chunk of our original documents returned at some point in November and we haven't heard anything since! think it really is just a waiting game after that! Good luck with your application.
  11. Thank you so much Christel, sorry it has taken so long to reply! That is a huge help
  12. would you recommend submitting medical evidence with visa application so all required evidence is enclosed? I know there is a 12 month limitation on these papers and with the 10-14 month processing time just wanted to see what people recommend xx
  13. Hello, Thank you in advance to anyone who can help us with our queries.. My partner and I are currently in the process of completing our forms for a Partner Migration visa, I currently hold permanent residency however I have been back and forth from Aus for the past 4 years as I came back to the UK for university as I was not entitled to any H.E.L.P. support with tuition fees down under... ( In that time I have been back on 3-4 month holidays etc, however two years ago I met my partner (who now wants to emigrate) and ended up living with him in the UK, currently still living together and have been for 15 months. We have been to aus in this time but we are just wondering if I satisfy the requirement of being ' usually resident in Australia ' as I have been out of the country on and off. My goals have always been to move back to Australia after university, just being a normal human being I met someone who after 2 years now wants to do make this move back with me. My entire family lives in Perth so we have a strong foundation for moving out there. I just hope that I am still entitled to my permanent residency status. I have checked VEVO on the immi website and I know I have no restrictions on my visa, my PR was granted in January 2012. I hope someone can help us, this is the only niggle we have regarding the application!! Thanks again, Lauren and Paul
