  1. 9 months 1 day...and my boyfriend sent an email yesterday soooo...still waiting lol
  2. Yes; I've been diagnosed with joint hypermobility syndrome since living in the UK and some days I feel like my GP Surgery is my second home lol yet in Australia I rarely got ill and if I did it was usually a cold that went after taking some natural remedies and resting. The only time I can remember being ill there (other than having the operation to put metal plates in my lower jaw as part of orthodontic work) was when I got tendinitis in my ankle...even then that was only because I'd been walking too much next to the Broken Creek in unsupported shoes lol. I had a bone scan and they confirmed it there and then. I had 6 weeks on crutches whilst it repaired itself and then I was fine. I'm a firm believer overall that the weather/climate and lifestyle in Australia played a big part in keeping me healthy; the UK is too cold and wet and miserable most of the time xx
  3. You need personal references as you won't have any rental history there. To be honest its worth contacting a local real estate agent in Albury and ask what they would need you to submit. Also all being well re the visa me and my boyfriend will be moving to Wangaratta Victoria sometime in October/towards the end of the year...i lived there when I was a teenager; it's 45 minutes away from Albury so if you need any advice on the area let me know xx
  4. Aaaand 9 months today and still no email my boyfriend has emailed them tho so hopefully we should hear something tomorrow and then my craziness will stop lol
  5. £200?? We got our documents certified by a local solicitor for £15!
  6. I had orthodontic work done in Australia and whilst my parents paid for the braces themselves (no idea on price sorry; it was 13 or so years ago) and I also had an operation to correct a bad overbite which was covered under private health insurance...which was amazing in its own right because I got my own room in a private hospital with amazing staff looking after me xx
  7. Go with the literal meaning of it rather than whatvyour agent has said. If the DIBP require any further information they'll let your agent know xx
  8. Our CO is WP....We've had no contact other than the initial contact which included a request for further information. And no, you're right there doesn't; probably is the May bank holiday backlog. Roll on tomorrow! xx
  9. Still nothing today from our CO re granting however my boyfriend has emailed them to chase it up so hopefully we should hear tomorrow...altho tbh I did say that yesterday so who knows lol xx
  10. We've got the same on my boyfriend's application and we're due to hear about granting any day now so yes, I'd say that would mean it was finalised and nother else was needed xx
  11. We will have 3 months to validate then...so not looking forward to that bit lol
  12. Hoping to move over there in October of this year all being well and we'll be going to country Victoria (numurkah to start with and then eventually wangaratta) xx
  13. I'm curious regarding this also as my partner has his medical done around the end of may and his police certificate beginning of June xx
  14. Being patient would be easy were it not for the fact that we may have to activate my partner's visa in may (because we did his medical and police certificate around then) and then actually move out there in October. Also i know of other people have been issued theirs and they applied on 13th and 14th may respectively
  15. Bobby122...I'm not stalking you or anything (I'm on the tapatalk app for this forum on my phone so when i press one button the app goes completely bonkers and selects something else lol) but i noticed on your profile you're in Derbyshire...me too! Whereabouts? I'm in Wirksworth near Matlock xx
  16. I don't have family in wang, they're all in either Mansfield or Melbourne. I went to Galen College in wang which i really recommend as a high school...and their catchment area includes beechworth
  17. It's the not knowing that's the worst part lol if we knew we were going to get it but it was just a matter of timing then it wouldn't be so bad. But its that uncertainty lol
  18. omggggzzzzz I know beechworth really well!!! I spent my teenage years in wang and used to visit the area often. Beautiful area but do be prepared for lots of tourists. Also you must try the Beechworth Bakery...their food is to die for!
