    Girlfriend sent CO email stating that she has had Medicals done 6th June and asking how the application is doing, reply back was he now has all the information and the health and character checks have all been met and he states that we may travel to Oz on an appropriate visa and if in Oz when he grants visa he will ask her to leave for 3 days for the process period The way it reads to us is that she has got the visa but got to wait for it to go through the system to be granted Anybody had a similar email We are now wondering whether to risk going over a couple of months early and get the grant while in OZ, as we have a family wedding and flying over for that and then flying over permanently will eat into our moving budget Gary

    You will be fine be about 5 working days for results but you don,t see them but they will get in touch if there is anything untoward

    Na don,t think it was to bad just the usual things a prod and a poke here and there I didn,t go in with her but she,s not very good at giving blood and that was worrying her but she let them have some lol

    Hi She had full medical, the medical, blood test, urine test and chest xray £285 all in we got first appointment 830 came from Chesterfield took bout hour an half traffic not to bad we gave ourselves 2 hours easy to get to as well Gary

    Hi Louise I,m not over yet hopefully September but do keep in touch with my Sister and Bro in Law as he is in the building game over there He keeps telling me I will have no probs finding work there is plenty about if you are willing to look for it, I can work for him Laboring until I find my own work to, and my girlfriends step Bro works for a kitchen company and they are always on the look out for fitters so fingers crossed I will be ok Ye things are looking up here to had an Agency ring this afternoon saying they had got more work than they could cope with and the rates have gone up heaps, could get upto £15 plus travel but to be honest although yes you do need to have money coming we are moving over more for the way of life and hopefully a bit better weather lol Gary

    Hi Louise you are probably the best bet as you probably get a sponsor I'm a joiner with management experience and got my PR sponsored Visa for Carpentry Joiner Supervisor but don't think that's now on the list Just think it's carpenter or Joiner Personally I would't use an Agent now everything can be done on line I used one when I applied back in 2009 and and now just applied for my girlfriends partner visa online and saved a bout £1800 Best of luck Gary

    Hi to anybody that can help me, my girlfriend has just logged on to her immi account and noticed a link to organize her health examination in the next steps box, does this me we book the medical now as it has aloud us to print off the emedical referral letter or do we wait for the CO to inform us but we are not quite sure we have been allocated a CO ye,t it is all getting a bit confusing and when I applied for my PR visa I used a migration agent who told me when I needed to send info and organize things and the medicals were the last things to have done (Sorry If I sound a bit thick) Gary & Jenny

    Hi just we have submitted forms but one of our stat declarations has now changed Address and we have noticed another stat has wrong DOB does anyone know the form we need to fill out to correct the errors Thanks Gary

    Hi Another quick question about my girlfriends application My girlfriend has been divorced 10y but has not officially changed back to her maiden name but she requested that all her official docs ie passport/driving licence that she be known as her maiden name Thanks Gary

    Hi Tas Ye thought so I waited for the C/O to ask me for it (and the medicals) when I applied for my P/R visa just wanted to make sure nothing had changed as I have had my visa for a couple of years now Gary

    Hi vickyplum filling out the forms now for a defacto partner visa doing them online have you been granted the visa yet or still waiting I can see you have had police clearance I was granted my PR visa a few of weeks after I sent off the police clearance cert Regards Gary
