  1. It's the same as 309 visa, you have to provide evidence of genuine & continuing relationship along with Form 888 x 2, Statutory Declaration by you & husband (if online then only your declaration is required), Police Certificate, provide Certified ID copy both you & husband. Check this link for info: http://www.immi.gov.au/contacts/forms/partner/ Aussie Girl Bay
  2. It's a point based system to prove your identity so each applicant has to provide documents from Primary List to get 70 points & remaining from Secondary List. It's used for drivers licence, opening bank account, police certificate etc. example: http://www.transport.nsw.gov.au/content/100-point-check-proving-your-identity Aussie Girl Bay
  3. Tooba & all others who are looking for AHC Pakistan email address: Immigration & Visa enquiries: immigration.islamabad http://www.pakistan.highcommission.gov.au/islm/aboutus.html When you send your enquiry, do mention your File# in Subject Line, email body should include: Your Full Name, Date of Birth, File Reference No- then you can address your enquiry to Case/Immigration Officer. Ok for some reason it doesn't let me add full email address so you can check the above link for complete detail. Hope this helps. Good Luck!!! Aussie Girl Bay
  4. Salam, Happy New Year to you too! Sorry I didn't know you from Bangladesh so no the checklist I provided earlier won't work for you. This is the correct link with all info related to Partner Visa-Bangladesh, check this out: http://vfs-au.com.bd/family_partner.html Checklist: http://vfs-au.com.bd/pdf/PARTNER-visa-checklist_290514.pdf Evidence to prove genuine relationship are not country specific so you can ahead with that info but with regards to how to apply & checklist etc you need to go with Bangladesh AHC not Pakistan. Hope this helps. Aussie Girl Bay
  5. You very welcome Maximus007, appreciate your feedback too. You have plenty time (1month is more than enough to sort out your paperwork) This is Partner Migration booklet which I advise everyone to read as it's very helpful: http://www.immi.gov.au/allforms/pdf/1127.pdf Now coming back to your questions: no IELTS is not required for Partner Visa applicant. She has to satisfy DIBP that she is in a genuine relationship with her Partner, this has to be done by providing evidence in 4 broad categories: Financial, Household, Social, Mutual Commitment towards each other. For Financial: bank statement (even if it's not a joint account) any transaction made by you in her account, any money transfers through western union or any other mode. Household: monthly bills on her name, lease agreement, letters addressed to you & her separately or together but shows same address. Social Acceptance: any birthday, wedding invitation card, letter addressed to both of you, any get together with family, friends, in laws photos would help, but she needs to mention person(s) in photo with date Mutual Commitment: honey moon trip, hotel, flight ticket, any gift receipts, birthday celebration together, photos of you two together, any future traveling which you guys already booked ticket etc. This above examples should help her to begin with her application, she can add more later too, once you will leave she has to show communication with tells them that you both are still in touch like Skype Chat history, telephone bills, facebook messages or whatever you both used or gonna use. Hope this helps. If you need any more advice please ask, there are few guys who just applied on this thread so they may give you more tips. Good Luck! Aussie Girl Bay
  6. Your Salam has accepted by all If you go through AHC Pakistan website you will find this info clearly: 'The sponsor does not need to be living in Australia at the time of application' http://www.pakistan.highcommission.gov.au/islm/120822pg9diac.html Your wife can apply for her Partner Visa but as a Sponsor you have to meet the 'Usual Resident' criteria means you live & work in Australia. So even if she applies now while you have not moved to Australia, at some point later she has to prove that 'Sponsor' which is 'You' lives & have job in Australia. She will be asked to show your tax return or payslip etc so keep this in mind. Also if you look at Form 40SP, Sponsor is required to show 'Length of Residence in Australia, Australian Address' so it would be good if you move soon. Hope this helps. Good Luck!!! Aussie Girl Bay
  7. so ok you already got the letter, guess you are good. AHC don't usually respond or update applicant after biometric/medical until they need any info or doc. it's bit of a wait but this is standard so keep yourself busy. Hope & pray you get your grant soon. Aussie Girl Bay
  8. Sorry no idea about this. Aussie Girl Bay
  9. Hi, All details on this link please check: http://www.afp.gov.au/what-we-do/police-checks/national-police-checks.aspx No finger print is required, processing time 15 days. Aussie Girl Bay
  10. Salam Tooba, how are you going? Have you got Acknowledgement Letter?? As per AHC Pakistan website, the average processing time is 12 months so you may not hear from AHC for another few months. Usually they take atleast 4-5 months to assign a CO so guess you have to wait patiently. Good Luck! Aussie Girl Bay
  11. They contacted me 2 months before the visa lodgement date via email Aussie Girl Bay
  12. Actually standard time frame is 9-12 months but on average female applicants do get their grant in 6-8 months time but it all varies from case to case. I got me grant too in exactly 6 months as it was a Decision Ready case except medical, all they asked was new PCC as last one expired 2 months before, I provided next day & got grant in 12 days. Good Luck! Aussie Girl Bay
  13. No, this shouldn't be a problem. CO/AHC only contact when they need more info/docs, they hardly send applicants acknowledgment emails so guess relax & don't worry. Aussie Girl Bay
  14. If you are in Karachi then I would suggest you to get new PCC ready as your medical/PCC has to be valid before you enter Australia. Aussie Girl Bay
  15. Oh absolutely, they will understand for sure. This happened with me too, AHC sent me email which I never received but I was calling them like every week so didn't miss the deadline & submitted me PCC on time. Hope & pray you get good news soon. Aussie Girl Bay
  16. You have to show evidence in 4 Broad categories : Financial, Household, Social Context, Mutual Commitment towards each other. For Financial you can provide bank statement showing transactions in each others account, doesn't matter how big or small the amount is. You really don't need a joint bank account as well. Household: Bills any, letters (both your & your partner name separately) showing same mailing address Social Context: Any wedding/birthday invitation, photo with family, friends. You need to send them with proper names, date etc Mutual Commitment: Any traveling you both did together, hotel stay receipt, pictures together as a couple, ticket of any place like museum/reptile park together. Aussie Girl Bay
  17. oh it happens, hope you explained this in your email too, have you called AHC to confirm if they received Certificate? Aussie Girl Bay
  18. Hi Usman, Best time to call : 08:30-10:00 or exactly after 2pm (Pakistan time). Contact number: tel: 0092 51 83 55500 http://www.pakistan.highcommission.gov.au/islm/home.html Aussie Girl Bay
  19. Yes this seems right as other than Form888, Statutory Declaration (Applicant/Sponsor-if apply by post) etc applicant has to provide Evidence of genuine & continuing relationship. Aussie Girl Bay
  20. Basically evidence criteria is same which is covering 4 basic aspects: Financial/household/social context/mutual commitment towards each other. When I submitted mine I sent bank statement showing all transactions made by me husband for monthly expenses as I am a housewife, sent electric/phone bills on me name, couple of birthday invitation cards addressed to both of us, pics where hubby & my friends visited us time to time & we took them out for lunch/dinner/beach etc, joint travel ticket made by me & husband, also 10 or more pics of me & husband together like baby birth, husband spending mornings with baby etc. baby birth certificate/passport as she was born after me 309 visa grant. It was a pretty good file. Form 888 & statutory declaration by me & husband were also submitted. Aussie Girl Bay
  21. Ok so finally heard from hairdresser last evening, she started with her story that she is totally broke, spent every penny to start/run this salon & now she is living in container in her MIL backyard. Also for compensation, she told to take a: only hair color refund + free service like free hair cut / blow dry b: take full refund $130 & sign the legal paper that I not take any further preceding c: if you are not happy with any of these offers then my lawyer should talk to her lawyer I asked her what about my medical bills/medicines etc, are you willing to pay that & refund the actual cost too? She was like, I am not sure that's out of pocket as my insurance company don't cover this. In my personal opinion, she is just lying & making stories to gain sympathy. I absolutely want to get full compensation but don't know how to proceed. I check with a law firm & according to them it's only 4 days & you are improving so just forget compensation.
