Absolutely any hair dresser can comment please on this situation.

Yes it was a must thing in UK to have Patch Test done before the color, I had some streaks done in 2007 & still remember I had a patch test done 48 hrs before. Unfortunately there is no law in Australia about Patch Test which is very surprising to me, couple of salon owners I spoke to you mentioned that it used to be a must thing long time ago but with time it has changed so no more Patch Test. However, its amazing that when I contacted the Product company they clearly covered themselves by stating: 'we cannot guarantee they are suitable for everybody which is why a patch test is always recommended before a full color application' I am extremely upset about the situation, the stupid hairdresser first denied to have 'the requirement of any patch test for this product' but later when I forwarded her the company reply then she started offering me refund & free cut etc etc & I was wondering why on earth I am gonna ever visit your salon!!!!I told her this is not acceptable to me & I want compensation whatever comes under 'Consumer Rights' She promised to get back to me this evening which she hasn't yet. Lets see, I will update once I am done with all this pain. Thanks all, Aussie Girl Bay

For payment method check this link: http://www.acro.police.uk/Payment_Methods/ Anyone can make a bank payment on your behalf within UK but you have to send email to ACRO first as they provide the reference number which is used for bank transfer. Aussie Girl Bay

Timeline (309-Spouse visa) applied in May?
aussiegirlbay replied to a topic in Family / Partner Visas
Hi Well good that you uploaded as requested by your CO, just wondering is there any expiry date for Polio Certificate like 1month? If yes, then presumably you are not too far from your grant. I guess to check the status of your application, you need to login to your immi account & you may be able to see the case progress. VFS is just a processing centre, they can't tell nor get any update from AHC about any case. Hope you get your grant soon. Good Luck! Aussie Girl Bay- 13,926 replies

Oh very nice so all sorted. No, they don't send biometric as it's for AHC not applicants. It's already uploaded/forwarded to AHC/CO. Good Luck & enjoy your time while you are there with family/friends:) Aussie Girl Bay- 13,926 replies

Many Congratulations!! As you have PR so all delivery (in public hospital) is covered by Medicare. First Step, visit local GP, get some test done. GP will refer you to nearest Hospital where you are again examine completely & register for delivery, midwive assign & monthly/weekly visits are scheduled. You should go for Public Hospital as they have the best service available, plus the midwives (they simply know their job very well). Good Luck!!! Aussie Girl Bay

Well to be honest, they are indeed the best people. I don't remember any day when I don't think of me child's birth & how beautifully it was manged by midwives...I had no one except me husband & couldn't thank enough for the job done by midwives. Aussie Girl Bay

309 To become 100 in few months
aussiegirlbay replied to Demipouce's topic in Family / Partner Visas
Hi there, This is exciting, you don't really have to do anything. DIBP will contact the applicant via email / post & request for more docs/evidence. If you 've lodge 309 online then you can file online for 100 too, otherwise do the paper application. All documents are same except Applicant has to make statutory declaration too which is not required if you apply online. There is no fee for this as you've made payment for both Temporary (309) & Permanent (100) all together. I would suggest you to start preparing your application now and it will save your last minute preparation. Please ask if you 've any more questions. Good Luck! Aussie Girl Bay -
You can do bank transfer to avoid extra charges, check this link: http://www.acro.police.uk/Payment_Methods/ I don't understand why you have to fly back for this form. It clearly states: 'If you are living in a country in which you have not known a suitable individual for at least two years, you will need to send this page and your photograph to someone who has known you for two years to be signed. This individual can be of any nationality/reside anywhere in the world and you do not need to be present when the photograph is signed' Aussie Girl Bay

Hi Tooba, All is well Hope all is good at your end too. For Biometric & Medical you don't need to do anything, all results will be uploaded directly by the relevant department like Panel Physician & VFS. You just relax & wait till CO is allocated to your application. Good Luck!! Aussie Girl Bay- 13,926 replies

Timeline (309-Spouse visa) applied in May?
aussiegirlbay replied to a topic in Family / Partner Visas
Ok then have you provided all this info? Your visa sub class is on the acknowledgment letter you received from AHC but it's 309/100. Write HAP ID which you already have, 2 contact number - landline/mobile, for years I reckon as this visa is Temporary/permanent so you should opt 15 years or above. Anyone else may advice you on this point. Aussie Girl Bay- 13,926 replies
