Can't see why it's harsh. 13 mph over the limit is more than the 10% + 1 mph "allowance" that is typically given before prosecuting and whilst I will admit to having exceeded the speed limit on the A9, 90 mph is reckless given the number of fatalities that road has seen with innocent parties normally the victims. Someone who has racked up 16 points obviously has a blatant disregard for the rules of the road. A ban would have given them time to consider their actions.

Medibank is potentially going to be privatised (currently owned by the government) so this is maybe just a step to delink the relationship ahead of that. As a private member of BUPA I have had no issues with their services so can't see it changing anything really.

Just watch for insurance if you go back for a visit. MIL just tried to put my OH on her car insurance and they won't do it because we are Australian residents. Crazy given that we still drive on the same side of the road.

I was being a bit flippant fish, but the original iPad won't run iOS 7 (maybe even 6, don't have one so don't know) and product obsolescence is not just an Apple thing. White goods are no longer designed or built to last 20+ years or more like they used to. Cheaper to replace than repair most items.
