SHandGH
My other half e-mailed the med centre and asked them to let him know when his profile was corrected. They did not e-mail him. But went into to our application this afternoon to find meds finalised. Just my daughter still showing referred now!! It's good that things are moving for you. Hopefully your daughter's status changes to finalised soon. Our status was updated today to show new "Further medical results received" with today's date. I am Hoping we change to "finalised" soon. oppyddrum
Just for the record, i think the members of this thread are amazing... all that earlier scuffle (which i missed), i would like to believe was just as a result of nerves stemming from the lack of grants and/or Co allocations recently. It is nerve wrecking guys, but lets try to keep it together and help each other through it as much as possible. i wish everyone of us goodluck in this journey, CATs regardless! We all are in this together. Most of Grp 5 applicants are closely following Grp 4 forum as its directly related to the processing of Grp 5 applications once Grp 4 osffshore in finishes up. PatrickW
Minor update for my application - PCCs uploaded today 20/04/2012 (clear! Isn't it weird how getting a clear PCC feels like a relief, despite the fact that you know there is nothing that would indicate the contrary?), and medicals booked for Monday 23/04/2012. Please update the spreadsheet, SH. Thanks PatrickW

Guest jaffas1
Hi Everyone, We got back from our trip yesterday, and it was everything we expected it to be! We've booked our one-way tickets to Melbourne for mid- July. I've got a job to start in early August, and my husbands job prospects are looking hopeful after speaking to some employers and recruitment agents. I can't believe how much we have to do before we leave - we have started a long and never-ending list already. I hope you are all keeping well, and congratulations to everyone with Case officers and Grants. Good luck to everyone waiting, I am sure it will all work out well!

Guest NatsB
Back to our medicals! 3 of us have been finalised and still 1 referred. Has anyone else had experience of referred medicals?? Has anyone been asked to provide more info or more consultants letters etc. Yep... Exactly the same as us. All finalised except me for pregnancy referral. I don't know what happens, but from my understanding, A grade medicals are accepted by the CO, but B grade need I be checked by a medical team. Hopefully just a technicality for both our applications!
Guest NatsB
Okay.. You know what REALLY sucks? Powdered milk in my coffee :arghh: Very quiet week.. But we've had them before, and they are usually followed by a week with floods of grants and CO's. Good luck for next week everyone... And try to enjoy the soggy wet weekend! It is a different kind of insanity.. Hi Camilla222, In answer to your question, my husband was the primary applicant, and is a town planner. I am a doctor, and I spoke to a few recruitment agents at the end of last year. An employer offered me a job (and 457 sponsorship) to start in August, which was dependent on my visiting in April and liking the conditions of work. We had already applied for the 175 so I decided to wait and hope for the visa to come through, if not I would have been applying for a 457 visa. I'll catch up withe very one soon, and good luck!
