Ha ha! Guess who got Grant this morning? So very excited...will be skipping to work today! This is proving to be a very good week for Grants and we are only half way through! Good luck to all you guys in the waiting room xxx

<p><p>Hi Angela, nice to see another OT on this....don't know that there's many of us :biggrin:better for us though when it comes to jobs. We got our visa granted today :biggrin: but not planning on going until Jan 2013 - in time for our wee boy starting the school term. We're looking at Brisbane (north lakes/mango hill are) although we don't have a clue. Also looking at Geelong in Victoria? Really depends on jobs. Have you started to apply for jobs? What area do you work in? Nice to keep in touch.....always nice to speak with another OT going through the same process. Good luck with your adventure x</p></p>

Our medicals were completed on 24th of this month and the boys were finalised the next day. My husbands and mine are still in further medical results received. We have had email contact from our CO regarding another request for additional information not related to medicals. She has confirmed that all information received has been met including medicals but nothing has changed on our online status (still stating required for all documents). Many people are stating that this may never change prior to grant. Appears to be preference of CO. If you contact institution where medicals were completed they can confirm when they were received at other end. Hope this all makes sense!

Still waiting! CO contacted to state that my "advise has been noted" and that contact will be made if further information is required. Let's hope that this means that grant is imminent. Good luck to every one else with high expectations this week!

Doing the night shift tonight following cliff hanger on Friday! I am awaiting for case officer to reply to my last email which was one of many batted back throughout the night on Friday only to finish off with no response due to end off shift before the weekend!!! Last request from CO was police clearance from Ireland, however, I only lived there for four month in total to the ten years before application date. I have challenged this and hoping for response tonight or grant would be better as CO confirmed that all other criteria has been met! Let's hope I have some great news to share in the morning! Sol2Oz hope it's good news for you also.

Was a very long night!!! Email from case officer requesting PCC which I returned by stating already completed. Email then requesting document checklist which was returned as correct. Email then requesting PCC for when I lived in Ireland. Email back to state that did not live in Dublin for total of 12 months within 10 year period prior to application. No response as yet and guess what...time now 5.30pm on Friday afternoon Adelaide!!! Will be a very long weekend!!! Case officer did state that all other documents appear as met but still not showing on system. Did she not check dates on my application in relation to time scales living in Ireland...anyone else been requested PCC for country they did not live in for 12 months or more in 10 years previous to application? Now have to manage 9 hours in work in very little sleep and upset without clarification from CO. Anyway got my CV to sort out tonight and final documents for registration....can't wait!!!! We must all be totally mad putting ourselves through this torture?????

Doing the night shift tonight! Fell asleep putting kids to bed at 7pm and woke up at midnight so thought it good time to do some checking. Got that long awaited email from CO (team 2) and so far only requested to submit PCC which I did on 24th last month. Just sitting tight now as hoping for quick Grant! Will let you all know of progress....hopefully very soon!!

Yes, very quiet today! Medicals still not finalised even though completed 24th April. Received by DIAC as confirmed by Spire but still no change on system and still no email from CO. Must be in the slowest Team!!!! Getting really twitchy now as jobs are cropping up and registration for professional body almost complete but still no Grant. Checking emails and status like a maniac!!! The doubts are starting to set in as my mind is working overtime!!
