I also find it unlikely, as DIAC clearly stated that they will commence processing of Cat 5 in DATE ORDER! irrespective if on or offshore applications. There are a lot of people in the queue before 2009, so I don't think this is valid. It could of course be some astonishing bit of good luck, but I still don't believe it. Sorry.

It's always someone... Why not someone from POMSINOZ... Stop salting our wounds guys. I know this is merely a joke or a cheapest way to get popular in a forum like POMS... I know it's not possible as no category 5 has got the case officer... SO please please do not post something which can not happen. Or try to verify first before u got to any conclusion.

You mean I have been lying all these while when I mentioned earlier that my 2 of my agent's Cat5 clients got PR and one got CO recently. What proof you want? You want to contact them or my agent personally for vertification? Actually what should you do now is check with your agent, see he is hiding anything from you!

With respect, no one else has heard of a single cat 5 getting anywhere, and there are plenty of us on this forum and other forums who are desperately hoping for good news. So you must accept some scepticism when you are apparently the only person who knows of 2 successful cat 5's. Perhaps your agent knows of something that others don't or is it just down to luck, if that is the case lets hope it's catching.

There is a difference that u do not have proof to explain it.. But I have.. Here it is.. which explains that they are not processing any category 5 applicant...

http://www.immi.gov.au/skilled/general-skilled-migration/estimated-allocation-times.htm#a

You are the only person who is saying this as no one from any forum has said that they have got the case officer or decision....Not by the DIAC..

So here ur... WASS are not category 5 applicants. They are state sponsored applicants.. So they are into category 3...That's it u said it by yourself.

FYI Mr VJ, I am also a WASS 176, Hairdresser. My( the other 3 are hairdresser too) occupation removed from WASMP. Just got a e mail from DIAC that i belong to Cat 5,

Do u understand?.... any SS removed from SMP belong to Cat 5....

And another thing is, what can i gain from being "famous" here? Can get PR approval faster? Can make more money?in that case i dont mind.....You dont simply accused me!!

You want to believe or not is up to you!! Are you praying day and night to be capped? Then God Blessed You!!

FYI Mr MC, I still can not believe that any category 5 is processed..Anyways if u think that ur friends who got the case officer are in the same situation you are in.. then why don't u call DIAC and confirm and give them the reference of these applicants.. Why are u shouting on this forum. You will not get anything from this forum. If you really think that you must be processed like you friends are then you must confirm this from DIAC...

Any ways whatever the case is WASS are by some way connected to statesponsorship...

Ok tell me one thing, what is their visa class? after they are removed from WASS? are they still 176? If Yes then they will be processed in category 3 not category5. And u must also be processed under category 3 not category 5. Try to confirm this from DIAC not from me and or other fellow POMS members.....

GOD BLESS U with Visa sooner or later

Guest leoj76

hello guys..

sorry to read those little conflict among us.... me too . I always think that people who got a state sponsorship was not in category 5... specially those applying for western australia.... I have read somewhere that Perth is now on a regional sponsores migration scheme.... which appicant who are WA SS definetly not category 5 they should be cat 2 or 3

otherwise it doesnt mean nothing to have a SS or not!!!!

one more thing is did u guys notice that in cat 4 all visas for 495.496 have been allocated and 885,886 is on april 2011 which mean thy are going to clean it very soon!!!

may be our MARJORY is somehow right and category 5 will commence in this group!!!!!! though it doesnt make sense!!! as diac say BY DATE OF APPLICATION!!!

considering the recession fears today in the american economy and taking into account the fact that it may pull down along with other world economies, and this in turn may affect allocation of visas in australia, it doesnt look good man.we may have to wait till we become grandpa's!!
