I think you will have enough points for a 175 my best wishes to you. Yes I have enough points for the 175 on the new system, but fall short in the current point system. All the best to you too. Worked with MNC clients in South Korea and US (but missed to mentioned on my CV though). No relatives or friends in Vic. No backup plans as such, need to resit for IELTS. So, it kinda leaves me with pretty much nothing to post these days :err: I miss all that nonsense talk which made perfect sense back then, but now when I go back to previous pages, feel it was all kinda silly just to make ourselves feel that we are actually doing something worthwhile by coming up with various analytical theories about Vic's processing priority and acceptance/rejection logic. Awwwwwwwww, those were the days ......... :cute: Not that I expect to jump the queue (applied on Jan 6th), but then wish I had done that earlier. Our CVs are forwarded to a group of recruitment companies/agents or internal recruiters from well established organisations and asked them to provide feedback if the CV sounds employable. I say recruitment companies/agents because they are the best ones to judge a CV by the looks of it since the recruitment process is heavily managed by agents/companies in Australia. And I've come across many a specialised recruitment agent catering to an area of industry (e.g., Business Intelligence/Data Warehousing, Business/Process Analysts, etc.) so it makes sense to forward only those CVs which pertain to that particular area. This solves the mystery as to why some people with extensive experience get rejected whereas someone from the same technology background but with less experience gets approved. Hence, the "no demand" reason for rejection provided the recruitment agents tend to feel like tossing the CV aside for some reason. Since SMP applications were closed till Nov 10, when it opened, a lot of people would have applied in first three weeks of Nov. The flow would then have tapered down in Dec '10 and Jan '10. Given that they have cleared most Early to Mid Nov '10 applicants - the ones remaining in total should be approx equal to the ones who have got results by now. Hopefully the rest should be anytime now and (hopefully) before Easter.
