For all of you intending to attend the 3rd Brisbanittes meet up the details are as follows. The exact address for the sat navs is Main Road, Wellington Point, 4160. Just follow it all the way to the end until you reach the Pacific Ocean! As you drive down into the car park there is a childrens playground to your sharp left (under a huge fig tree and next to the man made beach). Suggest we meet there?. There's no BBQ's directly in the playground area but it is a short nip to one nearby. There is also a fish'n'chip shop for the less adventurous! Suggest all the kids bring swimmers as the water is very shallow and we can take the walk out to Kings Island across the sandbar. Looking forward to it! I am a returning Brisbannite from the UK however my partner is from Hertfordshire and we are looking to meet some new people. Just wondering if you are planning another British gathering soon? I see there hasn't been one since November last year. We are living on the southside but love the bay area so always looking for an excuse to drive that way. We have 2 little children (2 and 7 months) so its hard to socialise but we are getting there. Let us know if you are planning any others or if you know of any pomzinoz things going on. Hey there, With just 2 weeks until the next meet up we thought we would just send out a final reminder to everyone to have it in their diaries. Time: 1pm Place: Wynnum Esplanade Whale Water Park and Playground Date: Saturday 23rd October 2010 Quite a few people travelled over to New Farm Park from the coast for the last meet up so we thought it only fair to have the next meet up a little closer to the sea. There are bbq's there so if everyone brings a little bit of food with them just like last time we can all tuck in! We're really looking forward to it. Due to the very changeable weather at the moment (just like in the UK really!) we'll send an email nearer the time if we need to postpone. Again we'll also post this on PIO.
