It does not say anymore next to the type of visa(this application will take 9-11 months) as it was showing before! It just shows the date that i applied and still stuck on received after almost a year! Why they keep changing things? The frustration is unbearable anymore! One month they show you something and you think you are nearly there..and the month after everything is changed!!! Now looks like they don't even know how long will take to process my application.. after almost a year. Applied 13 april 2017. I think all of us have the same feelings, but we'll need to think that some people are waiting for years and they still hoping that something sooner or later will happen. It's so hard but I hope that when we'll receive our golden news we'll be free of this kind of stress, and we'll enjoy our life. This January I found a sponsor in regional QLD who is willing to give me rsms. So I asked few of my friends who already sucessfully became PR or citizens for a trustworth migration agent. They gave me the contact of this lady.The agent who my friends highly recommanded has dealt with a lot successful applications for my friends. So I was pretty confident with her. I told her my 187 visa needs to be submitted before the end of Feb 2018 (due to the new immi laws change, I won't be eligible for rsms no more.) Then we signed the contract and I paid all the fees, I let her deal with everything with the employer. She made the nomination and visa application kicked in on time and received a bridging visa A. I was over the moon for such a relief at that time.A week ago I saw an article in the fourm discuss how to check your application if your application is done by an agent. Curiosity kills a cat which i did. I found out the employer nominates me as a chef (on the RCB letter), but the application applied me as a cook. I didnt expected i would be sponsored as a chef due to I only have Cert IV. But if the agent would told me the owner wants to aponsor me as a chef, I could go do a RPL program to obtain my diploma before the end of Feb.My questions are, what should I do now???1. Get my diploma through RPL and then upload to the attachment??2. Wait to get visa refusal???3. Go find another RSMS sponsorship as a cook???I just fell from Heaven down to Hell!!!!What should I do??? What should I do??? I think no one here can answer this questions as we're not registered migration agents. Anyone said anything here maybe wrong and affect your application. My suggestion here is to ask her directly why did she do that and ask her the advices if you don't believe her you can ask other agents or transfer the whole file. I've applied both Nomination and Visa at the same time with already RCB approved in 30 Jun 2016. Position: Marketing Specialist (marketing officer) Local: Perth / WA Company: + 25 million turnover and have sponsored two people before Docs: All documents have been updated, including police check and company financial details. I've called and all they say is that there is no case officer on my process yet, but that they have received it. It may be a good sign that things will be a little faster or it may be possible that they might not reveal you how long it's going to take as they also get disturb in their work where people keep on asking them how long its gonna take.
