187 Visa Processing Time

From my understanding.... they are trying to refuse as much as they can. Problem is that  they are not giving  valid reasons for it. Of course everybody who got refused are going to appeal to tribunal and more time is gonna take, more money is gonna be spent, etc... AAT also takes ages to decide whether a visa should be refused or approved. Honestly, I don't know if I get  refused what I am going to do. Seems unbearable just the way it is... imagine with visa refused....... better not think about it!

Just think Positive always..Everything will be fine. Everyone visa will be approved. Don’t Stress and be panic... Stay Positive..[emoji4][emoji4][emoji1303][emoji1303]

HI guys, just wondering...

Is there anyone else waiting since Jun 2016?

I've applied both Nomination and Visa at the same time with already RCB approved in 30 Jun 2016.

Position: Marketing Specialist (marketing officer)

Local: Perth / WA

Company: + 25 million turnover and have sponsored two people before

Docs: All documents have been updated, including police check and company financial details.

I've called and all they say is that there is no case officer on my process yet, but that they have received it.

I'm not freaking out anymore (I'm over it, thanks God), but very tired of the waiting.

Hi we have one member under 186 thread naem parkesy he is Mar sPecialist too...Check with him.

Hi Deza,

Did you use an agent or do it yourself?

This is our second application - we first applied in August 2015 and it was refused in March 2016.

We had to withdraw our visa as the nomination was refused and we lost all the money :(

Spoke with my agent today (I speak with her pretty much every day) and she has said that they are just issuing refusals whenever they feel like it at the moment - such a backlog, nothing is guaranteed :(

I have a question . I applied for 187visa  as a cook in aug 2017 now i am on bridging visa. Is that possible i can apply for 190 visa on-shore or off-shore .

You can apply both onshore, that's what my friend did. However whatever visa is granted first you should withdraw the other one

Hi guys,

Could you please help me with a doubt about the employee responsibilities after the 187 visa is granted?
Is it possible for a 187 visa holder to work in a part-time position after the visa is granted?
I checked the immigration website and I cannot find any information about the condition of a full-time job to keep the PR, only the necessity to work for at least 2 years after the visa granted.

Thank you

Hi Almera,

i have used an agent. and i did spoke to him today as well. he said the same, that they can give refusal for any reason they like. they are just getting rid of RSMS files. even they are giving refusals for not updating recent financial documents.

So yeah, No gurantee what so ever. he suggested me talk to his associate agent and reviewed my case again and all the circumstance so i should start looking for other option before hand in case any thing happen. so i will be ready to choose what i have to do next........

i asked him, what is the immigration future, who is safe, student, skilled migrants etc. He clearly said there is no future for any one who so ever, regardless what ever visa they apply. Until unless government policy changed.

Thanks

Regional Sponsored Migration Scheme (RSMS)

The Regional Sponsored Migration Scheme (RSMS) outcome in 2016–17 was 10,198 places, a 16.9 per cent decrease on the 2015–16 outcome of 12,269 places. The majority of persons granted an RSMS visa in 2016-17 indicated they would reside in either Western Australia (37.1 per cent), Queensland (20.9 per cent) or South Australia (10.7 per cent). Demand for places in the RSMS category was higher in 2016–17 with 19,926 applications received compared to 17,533 applications in 2015–16. The RSMS pipeline was 18,341 persons as at 30 June 2017, an increase of 53.2 per cent (6369 persons) compared to the pipeline as at 30 June 2016.

Anyone has thoughts about the case if visa got refused for silly reasons?

What are the chances to bringing the case up to AAT? Will the judge stand for the immigration officers because they are all government servants?

What are the grounds for visa applicants to stand??
