Hi everyone!!! Finally I got my PR approved on the 11th of May 2018!!!! I could not believe it...after so long time I can finally breath again..... i wish you that all of you get pr soon!! Please do not give up!! I know it's hard and so stressful but I can assure you the wait is worth it! You feel so light and stress free after you re permanent.... hang in there a little longer and soon you ll understand what I m talking about! Here is my timeline: Restaurant Manager 187 Visa applied 13 April 2017. Perth Nomination approved 24 April 2018 Lots of documents asked in the same month as financial documents and medicals etc.... Visa approved 11 may 2018 Total waiting 13 months

Hi guys, I had my nomination approved the 26th of April. But Visa hasn't been granted yet. How long usually does it take after nomination being approved for the actual pr being granted????

Hi guys, Congrats to everyone who had their pr!!! I just had a call from my migration agent. She told me that The department has asked us to do medicals again. Last time we did medicals was 2 years ago so they have expired and we are about to do it again (me and my husband). Hopefully after this we will receive an answer ????

I have applied TRT after completing 2 years with my employer. On home affairs it still shows 9 to 11 months but on my immi account has changed today and says 9 to 13 months. I have applied a year ago. Hopefully i will be fine Will let people know anyway! Thanks for your support ??

They opened the file the 19 of march...my employer has not sent documents yet ?? and nomination still hasn't been approved. ALSO the department has asked a copy of lease or mortgage regarding the premise where i work!!! Looks like they are being so picky and pedantic!!!!!! Still hoping my employer will hurry up and submit documents soon. We have less than 20days.... if we don't provide documents they can deliberately refuse the application!!!! SO SCARED EVERY DAY ???

I have applied TRT ... even my immi account says now 9 to 13.months! They have prolonged of 2 more months!! What are they doing???!!!!!! I can imagine they have thousands of applications.. but its so frustrating.. when you think you hit the last month and you're about to see the light at the end of the tunnel... BUM!!! 2 more months to wait ??☹☹

Hi there, even if they have opened my file cause i saw the email from my MA myself, they haven't updated on immi account. The status is still sitting on received but email states they are processing it now and they have asked bas statement, tax return for the business, organisation chart and lots more!!!!!!

Hi guys!! They have opened my file after 11 months... applied rsms trans stream no direct entry... they asked more financial docs from my employer and he told me this morning.... i think this is to approve nomination... i am praying it goes well!!!!!!!!! The employer has now 28days to provide these docs.... ??

Because they are trying to refuse people whose professional positions are not longer on the list !!!!!!!!!!!

From my understanding.... they are trying to refuse as much as they can. Problem is that they are not giving valid reasons for it. Of course everybody who got refused are going to appeal to tribunal and more time is gonna take, more money is gonna be spent, etc... AAT also takes ages to decide whether a visa should be refused or approved. Honestly, I don't know if I get refused what I am going to do. Seems unbearable just the way it is... imagine with visa refused....... better not think about it!

I am a restaurant manager, applied from Perth 13 April 2017. Nomination hasn't been approved or refused yet. The number I called today was #########. My MA has provided this number to me in case I wanted to call them and ask myself. Looks like my file is in Melbourne! My employer strongly believe my visa should be approved as we do lots of money as profit each year. Is a busy tavern, with bar. Around 350 seats in the restaurant side and a big bar. Fingers crossed as I know the department is trying to refuse as much as they can for silly reasons!!!!!

Hi guys... just called the department of immigration, to check any news and how long they still are gonna need... I must say, the gentleman over the phone was so polite and he answered most of the questions that I had for him. After saying my identification number and Transaction Reference number, my full name and date of birth... he told me that my file was allocated to a team after 11 months and soon a case officer will open the file. I don't know whether to feel happy, scared, anxious ... don't know what to feel anymore!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! seems like I cannot see the light at the end of the tunnel.. hopefully we will hear something soon... fingers crossed for all of us guys!

Hi guys...just checked my immi account today and it looks different. It does not say anymore next to the type of visa(this application will take 9-11 months) as it was showing before! It just shows the date that i applied and still stuck on received after almost a year! Why they keep changing things? The frustration is unbearable anymore! One month they show you something and you think you are nearly there..and the month after everything is changed!!! Now looks like they don't even know how long will take to process my application.. after almost a year. Applied 13 april 2017. So sick and tired.... who is stressed and frustrated like i am raise hands please...

Yes thats what i am saying.... if you make a deal with your employer and none of you report that to the department you are fine. I am in the same situation and my employer already told me that i can leave once i get pr if i do not want to stay. I stayed with him for 5 years and he understands that life goes on. I would not worry if i were you!

Hi there, my co-workers were sponsored with 187 both of them and they did not complete the 2 years with the sponsor! Nothing happened to them, they had a deal with the employer and if no one tells immigration is fine. You have to stay in that field for another year but you can change place of work. an Irish lady who was working with me with 187, after she was granted the visa, she stayed 4 months then she left and nothing happened to her. Another guy after 187 visa granted, stayed only 2months then he quit. He is still in Oz. Nothing happened to him!
