Coz for me it looks like a scam, but I did receive it via email too. Also the letter came in a standard Government Envelop... So i was not sure. When I look for it, it is https://www.homeaffairs.gov.au/research-and-statistics/research/live/survey-recent-migrants-australia It is definitely a legit page You can choose to do or not to do it.
