  1. No you don't need to inform anyone... If it is required immigration will contact you (which is very unlikely). Just chill now
  2. Yes I do understand that but if you apply Onshore you have to be in the country and if you apply offshore you have to be outside Australia, you can't be in the country and have an offshore application.
  3. I think your visa will not be approved until you leave and go offshore. If you are holding the same passport for your application and you are in the county already. For example if you have a French and Italian passport and you applied offshore on you French passport for your 187 Chef visa and you are in Australia with your Italian passport then your visa can still be granted. But if you have only one passport and you in Australia already but your application is offshore your visa won't be processed until you leave. This is my understanding, (through a friend who has Italian and Brazilian passports) if anyone finds this explanation wrong please don't get hyper about it, just present your explanation.
  4. Hi Linh, Immigration can ask for s56 more than once but since you are the only applicant it is very unlikely for them to ask for another s56. Regarding Medicals - it's always valid for 12 months so till November 2019 your medicals should be fine, however if they do ask you for another medicals and they find that you are pregnant they may delay the processing of your application till the birth of your child. You may get a good case officer who will accept your medical even after 12 months, there has been one person on this forum who was not asked to do another medicals even after the 12 month period had passed. So fingers crossed hope you get a good case officer.
  5. Thanks Sameer, it was a long long wait...but thank god its over.
  6. Unfortunately its pointless trying to call them coz your call goes through a call centre that can give you very basic/minimal information... They can't speed up the process of your application. Until a case officer is not assigned its just a waiting game. This is my experience trying to call up.. May be others have had better luck.
  7. They shouldn't be asking you for English scores again... As long as it was valid at the time of applications (which is 3yrs) it should be based on that score. You should tell them that you have already submitted your PTE.
  8. Thanks Carmen... I'm going to quit this job too now... You know how stressful it is being sponsored by these employers who just want to squeeze you dry...just coz they think they are doing you a favour
  9. Got my good news yesterday 1st application - Sep-2017 (RCB, Nomination and Visa) Cancelled in Jan-2018 (quit Job) 2nd application - Feb 2018 (Visa) April-2018 (Nomination and RCB) Aug-2018 - RCB approved April-2019 - Medicals and police clearance for India and Australia Aug-2019 - Nomination approved No documents asked... Just police clearance for UK and Germany Visa approved 23rd Oct- 2019 Occupation--Chef
  10. Hopefully you hear some good news soon...in my case no further documents were required just a few different police checks...what's the turnover for your company?
  11. All police clearance and medicals are valid for only 12 months... According to dates if your nomination is approved then there is very little chances of immigration asking you to do them again.
  12. Linh they asked for my UK police clearance and medicals in the first s56 and the second s56 they asked for my wife's UK police clearance and my German police clearance.
  13. My RCB took nearly 4 months to be approved... Don't wait for the RCB, many people are getting a positive outcome for their visa with a rejection in their RCB. I'm not saying its not important but its no point waiting for that. I applied for my visa first then a month later I applied for the RCB and nomination. Force your lawyer to proceed with your application.
  14. Yup and there is no way you can contact the case officer like 10 years back where you could contact the case officer by email... Now its just a generic email address or the call center number where they can't provide you with proper information.
