If you are the main applicant and you are asking if you could leave your sponsored job to work elsewhere, then no - the new company would need to take over your sponsorship and you'd need to re-lodge. If you're asking, if you could work at a 2nd job, whilst still working at your primary job, then the answer is still no - - There are some legalities that could possibly get around this, however, if the department find out, there could be complete and immediate rejection of your application. (why risk it) 2b) If you are not the main application, you can basically do what you want (in terms of work). Being that you have been waiting for so long and are now only on a bridging visa (basically at the mercy of the company you work for), I'd suggest staying with them and doing your due diligence to get through the days ahead. What if the officers come to your previous work place and they get to know that you got transferred to some other venue of the same company ?
