I submitted an EOI with 85 points a month ago also. I think direct entry would be the best option for me right now, since I still have to work 7 months before being eligible for TRT. I know the wait time is very long and chefs have been waiting for too long..

Did immigration asked for more details after nomination approved?

I lodged my visa application after nomination was approved. This additional information request only came in this morning. I guess since it was more than 9 months since approval of nomination, they wanted a confirmation. I had lodged the latest payslip last month but i guess that wasn't good enough for them. Should be able to submit it tomorrow.

Great. That’s gives us hope because your occupation isn’t on the priority list either but they started to process your case.
hope you get your PR soon.

hi guyz, recently our business name is changed but ABN, owner and business address is same and i applied 186 visa on previous name, do we need to notify the dibp about this. kind regards

@rukz If the ABN hasn't changed then no, this shouldn't affect your case file.

- It's still suggested you inform immigration on ANY changes to your circumstances (company name change included), however, it shouldn't affect your case.

I got my visa granted today...

Husband onshore - mechanical engineer and me offshore.

Nationality: 🇮🇳

Visa lodged: 13th dec 2019

nomination: 4th aug 2020

s56 request: 6th aug 2020 payslip, tax docs , medicals request

s56 submitted: 10th aug 2020

s56 request: same request again 7th September 2020  for 3 years full time experience with hourly prorata calculations.

s56 submitted: 2nd October 2020 submitted prorata calculation, every month payslips, every tax documents, every provident fund docs.. additional letter from employer previous company to certify the working hours and role worked as mechanical engineer.

medicals: 8th October 2020

MA called in between to CO....Got reply from CO will get back.

Visa granted: 5th nov 2020

don't loose hope ... I got twice tourist visa rejected on 18th nov 2019 that’s the reason I lodged 186 visa offshore and again tried in 29th dec 2019 for tourist visa again rejected... due to pandemic none other visa can be applied... only hope was on PR no other visa no other way to join my husband.. simple journey turned toughest just by choosing wrong agent for tourist visa... so guys be careful while applying for any visa.. go through the documents needed by ourselves first and cross verify 2 or 3 MA before applying check if they applied before, then lodge a visa... best of luck for you’ll guys...

Hi guys,

I got my golden email this morning! It's been a tough way to get here, 189 -> 190 -> 457 -> 186 DE.

Never give up if you really want it, fight for it, adjust your own mindset.

Hope everyone of you get your golden email eventually. You have my best wishes.

Thank you for all the information sharing and all the support you guys give when everything seemed so dark.

Best!

Wow, you have the strangest list of visas that I have ever seen before. But anyway, congratulations!
