I applied for the PR application and nomination on 12th February together. The AFP Certificate was applied for on 2nd February with the Receipt which my MA said would suffice. The actual AFP Certificate arrived on 8th February which I sent to my MA the same day. My MA only submitted the Receipt on 12th February. My file was opened last Friday and the CO has asked for the Certificate...Pretty annoyed my MA didn't upload it when he received it on the 8th.. But this is the only thing the CO has asked for, so fingers crossed the CO finalizes and approves soon!

However, my company wants to send me overseas (US, UK, etc.) for a business trip and I've been told that they never approve the visa while you're not in Australia, is that true? Thanks Sorry to insist guys but no one knows the answer to that?

Providing documentation before the CO attends to the case has no impact on processing time. The only time this would affect the processing time, is if the documents are not provided and the CO requests them (they they would need to wait for you to upload the requested files). - FYI, in this case - they allocate 28 days for you to upload any requested filed, meaning there is at best, another month before the CO gets back to your case. If you are not out of the country for a long time, then I see no reason why this would affect your case. Typically, once the CO opens / views your case, they will either grant it without requesting anything (ideally), or send you a message requesting additional documentation. If they do request documentation though, you would only have 28 days to get it to them.

dschmidt
Good morning, everyone! Hope today will be a good day for all of us. Please, I have a question regarding the Form 80. It is the only thing missing in my application, should I attach it already or should I wait? Any risk attaching it before?

This has been answered a few times on here already, if you'd like to go through the previous posts. My opinion is to submit it. There is no harm in providing the data and in fact could help speed up the process (in case the CO requests it). I've heard more people getting asked for the form than not, however, that's just my opinion. The alternative is that you wait and hope that the CO doesn't request the form.

itbk
@Benoit just make sure that if you are on the bridging visa you have the one that allows you to travel. By default you give the one with which you can not travel, you need to request it separately. The default one is Bridging Visa A You need to request Bridging Visa B if you need to travel.
