hussainrizvi Posted February 6, 2016 Share Posted February 6, 2016 There are no individual case officers now, and there hasn't been for around 1.5-2 years. What happens now is that each application is allocated on a first come first served basis, usually within 14-28 days. This is true of all applicants. When it appears on a screen a processing officer looks through the uploaded documents, verifies them and then that document is flagged as completed. If there are insufficient or no documents then they move onto the next person. Processing officers may be working on verifying several applicants at once. It's not just a case of a huge pile of applications sat on somebodies desk and then they verify one and make a decision and then move onto the next application. An application can go through several officers before being passed for decision. Hi Captain!!! What is the difference between Case Officer and a Processing Officer? My CO contacted on 30Nov and i submitted all queries including PCC Dubai UAE and family medicals, Form 80 etc. by 21st dec. Having an individual case officer assigned to an applicant stopped a while ago. Now they are called processing officers and they collectively process applications. On Sept 10 I received the no-further-documents-required letter. I called through Skype only once to Adelaide office 24-Oct-2015 at 2:20 am Moscow time. Was told that my case had been subjected to internal (not external) routine checks. The guy also said: "It can take a number of days or a number of weeks or at times few months". Docs uploaded by agent 6th Oct. , Under Routine check as response received for update mail sent by agent to CO: 10th Nov 2015, Uploaded Form 1022 (Resignation from job) : Nov 15, Employer Verification via email : Mid Jan 16, Grant : 11th Feb 16, IED : Jul 2016. No phone calls were made by the Agent. Took IELTS towards end of 2014, had to appear for PTE in Jun 15 since i crossed 33 years age and lost 5 points due to that (came down to 55). PTE helped me score an additional 10 points thereby taking points to 65. agent lodged EOI in June 15 and it got shortlisted in like 3-4 days. One more thing, My visa was lodged on 14th July 15 and not June. Pardon me for typo (out of sheer excitement). Since Agent was involved, I am not sure of exact dates (+- a day or two). Have shared dates as per the mails received from him. Hope these details help others. Would be happy in case any additional details that anyone may be looking for. I am pretty sure that my complaint got things going, my telephone call got me no where, that was just a scriptures fob off. All I can do now is that hope that the rest of you are not waiting much longer....it really is a horrible feeling. sending loads of love and positive vibes.
