Linday
Since the beginning of the week the water coming out of our tap seems different. It has a slight tinge to it and any bubbles from washing up liquid, detergent, bath foam seems to disappear in a couple of minutes. Just wondering if they have changed the source recently as it's coming up to summer.

starlight7
I would report it to who you pay your bills to. We had problems a few months ago and they flushed the pipes through up our street

jen85
Water Corp do flush the pipes every now and then and this can create brown/tinged water and bubbles because of air in the lines - it does clear after the water has run for awhile. Just give them a call and they can confirm for you.
Guest Guest66881
Yeah like Jen85 just wrote just flush your toilets and run your cold taps for a while might be a burst pipe clean/flush through somewhere in your area.
Celt Down Under
If running your taps does not clear it, contact your water provider, and they will come and flush the mains from the street. Are your neighbours having the same problem? If so, it will be sediment in the mains, maybe from some new work they have done in your area. We have had to have it done in the past, and it took 2 hours of mains flushing the clear the supply lines.

Sometimes you get a bit of dirt in the water after work but it should wash through pretty quick. Do you live in a new area?
