Skani
Ali, i think that's is a bit of a harsh assessment TBH he has only said he doesn't like ...... The weather, the people, the beaches, the sea, the driving, the city, the weather, the houses, the isolation, the beer, the wine, the shopping, the lack of culture, the weather, the pubs, the sea, the .......... Well everything really, but it's still a bit harsh, lol Don't forget the bogans, the grafitti, the drug culture, television, the old cars littering the yards... ali
Back to the title and how expensive is Perth - We had a chinese takeaway last night - not a usual event. We paid $54 for 5 dishes they threw the prawn crackers in for free, which number one were delicious and two - didn't seem a lot to pay (35GBP on the converter I used). Lots of food and the kids have saved some for lunch.

lostdf3
at the end of the day if your willing to do lazy shopping and still look at the exchange rate to gbp when you buy anything you are always going to find some sort of cheaper comparison. leave it alone, your in another country this will happen. chill out relax and remember why you moved in the first place. Mrs H1978
Hi Fiona When you say 'daycare' does that mean a nursery or a childminder? Also, how easy was it to find a decent childcare provider in Perth? Thanks
