  1. Hi, thats great thanks for the info. One question...I only created an Immi account when I applied for 186 visa's. The passport was already renewed for several months before. And I already submitted the new passport details? Regards Shaun
  2. Hi guys Myself and my family have been on 457 visa's for almost 3 years. Last year I had to get my son a new passport from the UK as his old one was due to run out. We never informed the immigration department of the new passport as we assumed that the 457 visa details would transfer automatically. In March this year I applied for 186 sponsored visa's and I put my son's new passport details in. Have I done wrong in assuming that the 457 visa would automatically transfer onto the new one? I am worried now as I'm not sure how I would go about changing this. I still have his old passport. Can anyone help me? Thanks in advance. Regards Shaun
  3. Ok I'll get right on with the renewal. Thanks very much for your help Regards Shaun
  4. Hi guys Just wondering if anyone can help? When I submitted our 186 visa application my sons passport had 8 months remaining, in the terms it said it had to have atleast 6 months. His passport has now expired and I'm wondering if this will cause any problems with the visa decision. What I mean is does the passport need to be valid get the visa? We are currently on 457 visas and we have been here almost 3 years. Our application for 186 is still in recieved status and we haven't had a nomination decision yet either. Any help would be much appreciated. Regards Shaun
  5. Congratulations, it's been very quiet on here the last couple of weeks so it;s nice to hear some good news! All the best.
  6. Doesn't seem to have been too much action from the department over the last seven days. Last visa grant was the 19th? Hopefully, they will push a few out towards the back end of the week!!
  7. Congratulations!! I have already looked into this as I plan to leave my position if I get PR. As far as I know, you are not obliged to stay with your employer.
  8. Well hopefully, fingers crossed you should get some good news soon. Did you use a migration agent?
  9. I'm a motor mechanic in Victoria. Currently going through the ENS 186 process. Nomination was submitted on the 29th March 17 and visa lodged on the 30th March, still waiting for a case officer, although it has only been 6 months so far. Not heard of Immi refusing applications though, not without a valid reason anyway. When did you apply?
  10. Applied for the 186 ENS. Submitted the nomination 29/03/17 and lodged visa application 30/03/17. My occupation is Motor Mechanic. Hoping to hear something soon, fingers crossed it's good news. Good luck with your's
  11. So sorry to hear that. Can't you get your money back in these circumstances?. I mean, they haven't even opened your visa application yet.
  12. Hi. Yes it's all sorted now. He had to fill out a few forms and a week later the application was now showing. Just playing the waiting game now! Still saying "Received"
  13. Hi. You need to get your manager to log into their account and share the application with you. My manager did this for me a couple of weeks ago. All he needed was my email and username. Hope this helps.
  14. Hi guys. I have been following this forum for a couple of months now, hoping to get some rough ideas of the time frames for 186 visas. I only did my application on the 30th March 2017 (nomination on the 29th March 2017). Feels like I've been waiting forever. I feel bad for the people that have been waiting for over a year and still haven't had any news. Is it just the 187 visa applications that are taking this long or is it the 186 visas as well? I keep checking the 186 time sheet but not sure if it gets updated frequently or not. Also I decided not to use a MA, hope it doesn't come back and bite me in the arse!!
