  1. I’m on an 820 visa. I can travel to the uk and back without any exemptions right?
  2. That would require some modicum of intelligence and forward planning, two things which the current government have none of Something needs to be done though, vacancy rates are through the roof and candidates are asking for ridiculous salaries, none of which is sustainable I’m sure this applies to many skilled occupations at the moment
  3. I would do it sooner than that. Although I’m not sure how long they are valid for My apologies btw it’s the domestic permits which are instant ( they might even have been scrapped) not sure about international ones
  4. The competition may be massive but so is the number of vacancies. We need a serious influx of these skills into Australia right now
  5. They are processed instantly I presume you will be flying into Melbourne?
  6. I received mine recently. Got the visa about ten days after my medical was complete Applied in July I think it was so all in about three months
  7. I can thoroughly recommend go Matilda who have an office in the uk
  8. Applied July awarded end of October. Seems like covid has been good for something at least It would probably have been even quicker but it took two months to arrange a medical as everywhere in Victoria was closed Personally I found the process pretty torturous While my partner and I have lived together for three years our finances aren’t particularly tied so showing proof of our defacto relationship was a bit tricky Huge shout out to Alan and the team at go Matilda for all of the work they put in. I could t recommend them highly enough
  9. Not on terrestrial tv but mr in between is an Aussie show and is outstanding Get it on fox tel or binge
  10. As someone who has recently gone through this process can I just say that there is no way on earth I could have got to the stage where my application was sufficiently detailed without an agent I would strongly advise you use one given the cost of this visa
  11. In terms of property the first thing you need to sort out is your budget and take it from there Property market in Victoria is bonkers at the moment
  12. With vaccinations the situation could change by November It had bloody better or I’ll be out causing a one man riot
  13. OP I wouldn’t be in any hurry to get up to Sydney at the moment
  14. Depends what you did I suppose. If you got got peeing against a wall you should be fine but if you were a serial killer then you might have a problem
  15. I have no idea why someone would want to commit to the sums of money involved in applying for a pr visa without engaging an agent You don’t want to risk a refusal for the sake of a few thousand bucks
  16. Your point is irrelevant because he has failed at that too
  17. Pretty sure he said that the entire Australian population would be vaccinated by October As previously mentioned he is a liar but then he can’t help it it’s part of his make up
  18. Pretty sure he said that the entire Australian population would be vaccinated by October As previously mentioned he is a liar but then he can’t help it it’s part of his make up
  19. Just get yourself a decent agent it doesn’t cost that much in the scheme of things. Otherwise you are wasting your time and a lot of money
  20. I’m literally just about to lodge my 820/801 Will keep my fingers and toes crossed for a fast turn around
