  1. Sorry but I didn't use anyone to write mine. I spent a lot of time and done it myself based on my own circumstances and skills
  2. You will need to email companies about employment and attach any positive responses with your nomination to show you have a good chance of getting into work when you arrive. Or best still, have a job offer..
  3. For the nomination application it has to be the occupation your skills assessment certificate is for. It's also mandatory that you either already have a job offer or employment prospects as they don't want to bring in migrants you will be unemployable
  4. Tell them exactly what they want to hear from the bullet points stated on the migration site
  5. Some reason I also can't find the samples on Google anymore... Just lots of advertisements for people to write them for you at a cost. You just need to sell yourself as to why you want to live there and convince them it's the only place in Australia you want to live and why. Include research you've done into the lifestyle, weather, job market, hobbies etc. Prove you want to live there long term and you will be able to find work easily.
  6. There are lots of draft letters on google. Pretty easy to find if you look .....

  10. Also if you have 60 points now then why not try for a 489 state-sponsored visa?........ The difference between family and state-sponsored is huge.
  11. The only points you can claim for a partner is if they have an occupation on the skills list and also have a suitable skills assessment for it also. You do need to be very careful in understanding how points are awarded. Too many people make mistakes believing them to be true, especially in work experience points. Immigration doesn't care much for mistakes. If you have the cash to cover education in aus, I would highly recommend putting some towards a Mara agent for advice and strategy.
  12. 15th February I submitted. No CO contact, heart skips a beat every time I get an email......
  13. I'm sure when you update your EOI on points it classes as a new EOI submission date so you will be behind other 70 pointers

  15. You will have to wait for NSW to select you from skill select. Different states have different procedures. Have you looked and researched on the nsw migration website?
  16. Also chef requires 5 years experience for Victoria
  17. Not sure if you know but Victoria are not issuing any more 489 visas likely for the rest of this visa year.
  18. What state will you be applying for?
  19. 489 state sponsorship times have been updated. 75% in 7 months 90% in 9 months
  20. Also consider other visa options instead of 189/190 as it's getting very difficult and competitive in those categories
  21. Also get him to start revising his English skills for either the IELTS or PTE exam. The points gained from the highest level are crucial in gaining a visa invitation
  22. First step would be to call the down under centre in London. That's where the UK skills assessments are held. They will give the best advice and guidance for all the requirements. I did mine there as well as many others on here. They will send you the pack to get you started and will answer any questions you have along the way.
