  1. It's the degree that you need to have. Is there any way you could do a top up qualification?x
  2. Manchester Spire do Saturday morning appointments. We have ours booked on 4th June.x
  3. Good luck!! Exciting times. :cute:
  4. You don't have to do AHPRA first but they can be hit and miss on how long it takes to hear back...some seem to hear quickly, others wait for a long time. My advice would be to apply to AHPRA early on as if there are any problems or delays with the registration you won't be able to work.
  5. You don't need to take a holiday to finalise the registration. You can do it on arrival after your visa is granted. It's valid for 1 year (as I'm sure you know) so as long as she presents in person before that date it's fine. Congratulations!
  6. I submitted my EOI the day after my positive skills assessment came through. You'll need that to submit the EOI. x
  7. We're using Go Matilda and they're fantastic. I'd thoroughly recommend them...really friendly and efficient.x
  8. Yeah...ridiculous but our migration agent advised us to put these in when we submitted despite my other qualifications. :frown: x
  9. I don't think you can count unqualified experience.
  10. Hi Captain. Just wanted to let you know we got our invitation to apply this afternoon! You were spot on! Thanks again. x
  11. I think this came up on another thread a couple of days ago. As you said, you'll need 2 sets of all of it (1 for AHPRA and 1 for ANMAC). The notary will need to stamp, date and sign every page. They're often quite familiar with the process for Australian visa's so I wouldn't worry. Mine cost £90 for all of it.
  12. Yup. You'll get 'registration in principle' which will be valid for a year. To get your full registration you just need to present in person with the documents once you arrive.
  13. As the others have already said, without a degree AHPRA won't allow you to register. Did those extra modules give you a top up degree by any chance?? If not the only way would be to do some more study. Sorry...hope it works out.x
  14. Fab. My appointment was only 20 minutes but in that time he went through it all and checked it. Then he sent me away for 45 minutes while he did it all and I came back and collected it all. I think they definitely underestimated how many pages they actually had to sign but they didn't charge me any more. As long as you've been clear in listing what documents there are for them to sign you'll be fine.
  15. Yes you do need to send them. I went to a notary and he stamped, signed and dated every page. I took two sets of everything (for ANMAC and AHPRA) and the cost was £90. Get a few quotes before you go though because my quotes ranged massively!
  16. They sound great! Thanks guys.x
  17. Great news...I was just looking at these and wondered if anybody had any experience with them. Thanks!x
  18. Hi...being a bit impatient because I'm excited! Could you give me an idea of how long I'm likely to wait please? 1: (ANZSCO) 2544-22 2: Mental health nurse 3: 60 points 4: Today! 06/04/16 Thanks! ☺
  19. I received my positive skills assessment this morning from ANMAC!! Yaaaaay! AHPRA took around 3 weeks and ANMAC took around 6 I think. Bring on the next stage!
  20. I think it depends on your circumstances, I know some do it all themselves without enlisting an agent. I wanted to use them for peace of mind as much as anything else. I'm also someone who tries to save money wherever possible as things are tight, but this was a worthy expenditure in our opinion. As others have already said, it's easy to make a tiny mistake which would be much more expensive in the long run, and things change all the time so having an agent who knows their stuff is invaluable in my eyes. We're using Go Matilda. I'm just waiting to receive my positive skills assessment and then it's onto the good stuff. They've been amazing so far. Always respond really quickly to emails, no question's too silly, and really friendly and efficient service. Good luck! x
  21. I've recently had my AHPRA registration approved and as far as I understand they close the application if you don't reply. Hopefully your AHPRA registration officer can shed some light and reassure you. Hope you get it sorted!x
