Thanks for responses. My father is in Pakistan currently. I am not after long term visa at the moment. I can explore 870 visa later. I am looking to bring him here for 6 months (visitor visa). I understand the risks during travel but I can bring him here and take care of him for sometime under current circumstances back. The risk is there but he is overall stable and I can take some risk for him.

Hi, I need to apply for visitor visa for parents for first time. I am settled in Australia for 4 years and wanted to know which stream should I apply. My parents are 77 years old and my father has severe dementia and also require assistance. So I want them to apply for longer terms (6months to 1 year). Which visa stream should I apply ? and what are chances? will a health examination be conducted and with such medical history is it an issue? What should be possible brief description of application letter Please help me out in getting answers before submitting application and I would highly appreciate your responses

I got PR on Feb 2017 and my expiry date is Feb 2022. So I need an RRV to extend the travel facility. I need a RRV for 5 years, as I want to move back now and may not return back to Australia in next 2-3 years. My concern is to have 5 years RRV for wife and kids. They still need 5 months to complete their 2 years residence requirement. I have living here in Australia for 2 years means that I can have 5 years RRV but for family is there any way I can apply with myself and they also get 5 years RRV

Hi, I am living in Australia for 2 years (since July 2019) as Permanent Resident(190). My family (wife and kids) are also PR and living in Australia since March 2021. We received Permanent Resident in Feb 2017 and did an initial entry on Oct 2017 and went back after 7 days. My current circumstances are changed in last couple of days as my father had a stroke and is paralysed and also suffering dementia. My mother and father both are aged 75 and they desperately need me. I am in deep mental stress due to the current situation. Considering all this, I want to join my family in Pakistan, but since we are well settled in Australia and want to live here and return back after couple of years. I want to return back immediately within next month or so. Can you please evaluate my circumstances and let me know what are my chances. I want to have a 5 years RRV for my family. I lived for 2 years but family has lived for 1.6 years in Australia. Is there any chance that they can get 5 years RRV as well along with me considering circumstances. I am living here in Australia for almost 2 years and my family for around 1.5 years. Our PR is getting expired in Feb 2022, but due to some family problems (parents ailing health), I need to return back to my home country. Due to covid and travel restrictions, I can't wait here longer and even can't bring my parents here and don't know when these restrictions will end. I want to get a RRV for 5 years with my family, so that I can return back after sometime. To meet residence requirement for citizenship I require 2 more years in Australia which are tough at the moment for me to live here. Can I know if I and my family will be able to get 5 years RRV and what documents are required that demonstrate close ties with Australia. Would I family also get 5 years RRV despite they are living for less than 2 years provided if I get 5 years RRV as I am here for 2 years. I am really in a desperate situation and your help and response are highly appreciated.

I applied online Visitor Visa 600 for my 1 year old son, his 101 Child visa was submitted in June 2019 and is in waiting queue. But immediately I got a message for biometric collection. Does the 1 year old child also need biometric collection. Let me know should I respond or what to do??

I am planning to apply for 12 month visitor visa for my parents. My parents never came to Australia, however then have been to USA for 3 times to see my elder brother. My parents are 72 years old. I have few questions regarding the application and will appreciate a response. Should I apply for Tourist Stream or Family Sponsored Stream? What have better options for 12 month visa grant? If apply tourist visa, How much funds will work, my father has term deposit and rental income? Basis of invitation to be mentioned in the letter or application? Any example or idea ?? Do a invitation / cover letter is required?? What I should write in covering letter / invitation letter to make my case strong enough for 12 month stay visitor visa?? Do I need to pay a bond?? I had received my and my family PR on state sponsorship(190-visa) from Queensland in Feb 2017 and have an initial entry date of 17 Nov 2017.Due to some personal reasons I can't relocate permanently now. I will be relocating by September 2018. But considering the implications of the initial entry, I am planning to visit Brisbane, Australia in Oct 2017. I have a few queries regarding all this. I have around 15000AU$ in Bank. I have property (House) worth around 100,000AU$. Here are my experience and education details below, kindly review and let me know if I apply with these details what will be the skilled experience met date. Will I got more than 8 years of experience after deduction to get 15 Points. I am applying for 26112 System Analyst, and all my educations and job experience is aligned with 26112 (as per previous assessment) Education: BS Computer Science - Sept 2002-Sept 2006 Experience Details: Software Engineer: June 2001-June 2005 Software Engineer: July 2001-Feb 2007 Sr. Software Engineer: July 2008-Present Previously I didn't mention the 1st experience because I thought that I have more than 8 years of experience. So I skipped with ACS. But now since they deducted my initial 2 years so I need to reassess.
