  1. Hi, We (wife and I) have done the application ourselves. Honestly it's quiet straight forward. Assuming you haven't started the application yet. If you require help, let me know. You can save money by not having an agent or if you can afford it then they can direct you. The processing time would be the same if you done it yourself or if the agent processed it. Good luck and keep us posted what you decide on
  2. Hi, Have you paid the full amount to them and at what stage of the application are you currently at? An agent has nothing to do with immi granting you visas. The only issue you may have is the agent not sending you back any origional docs or dividing you the login details. If you can get everything back off them then brilliant as you cN carry on with your application. It's very simple doing it yourself.
  3. Hi, im a carpenter and joiner by trade and started the application off in Feb 14. Check my timeline at the bottom as it will give you an indication. As your applying for 189 it also depends on how many points you have. The higher the faster you get invited (70-75 points). I did the application myself as its a very easy process. If you require any help let me know
  4. Hi Thus, I've uploaded it on the ImmiAccount and sent an email with the docs. Fingers crossed we hear back this week. My son's name wasn't on the application summary so I sent an email regarding that as he's on the main application and the fee has also been paid. Awaiting for their response.
  5. Hi we applied for our 190 in August and only hear from CO 10 weeks later asking for further docs.
  6. I Jack, im currently awaiting for my Visas to be granted and I'm a Carpenter and Jointer by trade with 13 years of experience. Firstly you will require the White Card which is equiv to the CSCS cars we have here. If you don't already have one, let me know. The company I went through we're really good and it can be done in one day and at the weekend. In Australia the course is three days long.
  7. Hi PWA200 I'm currently awaiting for my Visa to come through. Lodged on 18th Aug. Uploaded Form 80 as few threads stated CO will ask for it. Got CO, and she still asked for it. Sent it to her. It all depends really. Best thing to do is fill it in and have it ready to upload if they do ask for it as it is a lengthy form.
  8. If you are still having problems with the e-mail address. Upload your additional documents onto your immiAccount. They will be able to pick up the documents from there aswell. E-mail states you need to respond back within 28 days.
  9. Hi thus, I replied back on the e-mail address they provided. Not heard anything back. I received an auto message back from them when I sent the e-mail so it has to be the correct email address. Stated that they will respond back in 7 days so hopefully should hear back very soon. Which team is looking into your application? Mine was Adelaide team4
  10. Hi, Try Go Matilda. Many people on this forum highly recommend them.
  11. Hi I am a Carpenter and Joiner by trade and awaiting for my visas to be granted. Just wondering why you are going through VETASSESS. I had my skills assessed through TRA so just wondering what's different. I am also self employed and DIBP required all my self assessments from start to current year tax returns. Plus all the company references. I have NVQ 2 & 3 so made it easier. By any chance do you have a CSCS card as you can obtain the NVQ through that and it's onsite aswell. A very straight forward qualification.
  12. Hi, I'm a Carpenter and Joiner by trade and awaiting for our visas to be granted. Where do you live. I've already sorted my White Card out through a company in London. Been advised by them that it might take longer to obtain in Australia and I wanted to be prepared before going out there. Let me know if you need their details. Price is the same if you do it here or in Australia.
  13. Hi, Yes, I've heard of Down under centre. We used one to help us with the Skilled Assessment. We have one in Ealing London. The team that helped us were really good. Once we completed this part with them, my wife sorted the actual visa application herself. A very straight forward process. If you need help them please let me know.
  14. Congrats Bernardo wow that is so fast. Which area you planning on moving to?
  15. Hi Nilesh, CO asked for Evidence of employment from 2004-2007 as i'm self employed, Form 80 again although this has been submitted and Educational Qualifications prior to self employment. Also asked for wife's medical only. Assuming this hasn't been uploaded on their side as its been uploaded on 8th October
  16. Been allocated CO today requesting further docs. Hopefully not too long now

    Hi everyone

Hi Dave, What's your occupation? We are awaiting our visas to be granted. (We meaning: myself 32,wife 30 and son 21 months)
  18. Hi David, You received your visa in Jan 14 and entered into Oz in July 2014 so this has now validated your visa. Yes you can enter Oz after 31st October 2014. You now have 5 years from from the date the visa was issue to settle in Oz.
  19. Great news Jerry and Paul. Congratulations. When you planning on moving out?
  20. We applied for 190 visa and out State requested us to provide sufficient funds. We will also be selling our property and wrote the estimated value we will have as capital to take over to Oz. This was then certified by a solicitor. State Nomination was accepted so I know that's the correct method of doing it for our application
  21. Although you have an obligation to work in the state for two years you can leave and this will have no impact on your citizenship.
  22. Hi Bilalsby Congratulations, hopefully the rest of the August gang will start receiving their grants soon

    SA or WA??

Hi, has as your friend moved out to Australia already or awaiting to move? He can move to another state even though is is on a 190 visa if there is no work in SA. When he gets his six months survey mention that he has moved due to not being able to find work within his occupation. Moving will ill have no impact on his citizenship
  24. Hi emachaka6, Yes you will need your skills assessed - an EOI is not a visa, its just a system that holds your data so that once you have everything uploaded and submit, the government or State can view your EOI and decide on sending an invite. Not too sure on PTE yet, but if you sit the IELTS before Nov, you will get your results hopefully before Nov and start your application
  25. Where was your 5 bed house? That's very cheap as we will plan on selling our 3 bed house and have been told its worth £475k at the moment.
