Hi. I am moving back to the UK in 8 weeks and despite holding a sublass 189 visa (permanent residency). I will not be returning to Australia. Is there any way I could cancel my visa and obtain my super fund that way? Kind regards, Darren

Sorry if this is in the wrong section, but I was just wondering what do to regarding my mobile phone contract. I have 1 year left to run on my EE contract and I am moving to Australia in 6 weeks. I am contemplating canceling the contract as i am unsure whether it would be suitable/possible to alter my contract to work in Australia. i know I should probably be talking to EE about this but was wondering if anybody on here could give me unbiased advice first. thanks in advance Darren

Hi all. i finally got my visa after years of trying! I am 32 years of age and I am a carpenter by trade. i just wanted to ask whether you think I should try and get a job online before I travel or travel first so I can attend interviews and have more chance of employment. i have until June 26th before I must make my first entry. Hi there! I am visiting Oz for the first time after Christmas, I am spending a month there and was just wondering if anybody had any advice on what to do for money. I am not sure yet how much cash I will spend on my trip in Australia, so I am thinking of taking travellers cheques. Ideally, I would like to use my Natwest bank card, but have heard they charge for foreign transactions, however I don't seem to be able to find out how much they charge. If any one has any advice it will be greatly appreciated. Many thanks, Daz
