Hi, I've got a Level 2 and Level 3 Diploma in Carpentry and Joinery and was wondering how many points i get. I've submitted in EOI and it doesn't seem to give me any points for my qualifications. Thought I would get 10 points for this..but its not the case Am I doing something wrong on my EOI. Thanks

Hi, I've worked in construction as a sub contractor for the past 12 years, through many different companies. Sometimes I work on long projects and sometimes short 2-4 weeks. I have all evidence to support my experience. Can anyone advise how I should put this through on my EOI. My skills have been assessed and I'm at a stage of lodging my EOI. Thanks

Hi All, I've just joined the forum and needed abit of advice on which Visa to apply for. I'm a Carpenter and Joiner by trade and have just had my Trade Assessed. I'm handling the Visa application myself so cutting out the cost of the Agent fees. So far so good. Ive got 55 points based on Age, Qualificatons (Diploma being the highest), Experience. Does anyone know if you get 5 points extra for getting AQF Certificate III? So that I can apply for visa sublass 189. If not then I will apply for subclass 190 (State sponsored) Thanks Neel
