    At last we have been assigned a CO!!! Our CO is DP :ssign19: Need to do medicals in 3 months and that's it... So happy that no extra documents required!! Was eagerly waiting to update my signature with 'CO assigned' ... hehehehe.. :biggrin: Good luck to all!! :hug:

    Hi bearinmind, we sent in our PMV application on 3rd October, money taken 9th / 10th, no emails from CO yet.. I thought it took a week after payment and was expecting an email last week... I keep checking my inbox every few minutes.. but I reckon you'll be hearing before me.. do keep us posted... may be they are really busy??? GOOD LUCK :hug:

    Hi Lilacdreamer, welcome to the forum... I am a new member as well and submitted my PMV (300) application recently, money was taken from my fiance's card on 9th October, waiting for the email from our CO now... hopefully soon!! Then starts the long wait.........

    Great news! Congrats Arees23!! I know how difficult it is being apart... we are apart since last 4 months and as you can see it's 2:30 am here and I am online.. actually Skyping with my fiance in Oz (his Saturday morning)!! :-) Good luck with the move and have a great life ahead!!! xx

    Hi there... My fiance and I applied for the PMV last week; we have been together in the UK for the last 3 years but my fiance (Australian) returned to OZ few months back due to work commitments and we decided to apply for the PMV. He used an Aussie agent in Queensland for our application and they couriered all the docs to Australia House (London) for processing! I thought it was such a waste of time with them couriering stuff all the way from OZ when it would have taken just a day if I posted them from Cardiff! But the agents know best I guess! Anyway, dreading the long wait now, very difficult for both of us being apart since last 4 months :-( ... This forum is really helpful and I have been following it since last few weeks; it's great to read some people are going through the same process at the same time.

    It's really difficult being so far apart.. We have already been apart since last 4 months due to our work commitments.. really hoping the visa thing works out soon! My fiance is visiting UK end of November for just 2 weeks.. so now looking forward to that.. not sure about Xmas yet :-( When you submitted your application did you provide them with a fixed wedding date? I wonder if they process the applications and grant the visa before that date?! All the very best to you and please do keep in touch... xx
