  6. Hi Blossom and Maggie, Thank you for your advice. that's what we have been believing so. however we were confused by MA, that he urges we could lodge offshore visa without going for MRT and still be onshore. Thanks again.
  7. Hi Raul, Thanks for your reply. he has been on bridging visa a. His application for 485 was rejected due to not meeting English language requirements at the time application. He will meet RSMS criteria now. but our doubt is can we lodge an offshore visa without going for MRT and still be onshore working for the employer? Please reply. Thank you.
  8. Hi Blossom, Nice to see your reply again. MA says my friend can be onshore while and after lodging the application. but I think that application would be invalid if he lodges the visa while my friend is here without applying MRT. What's your opinion? Thanks again.
  9. Hi All, Please shed some light in below situation: My friend has his 485 visa application refused. He's got an employer to sponsor (187) him. He got only 28 days to depart, or 21 days to apply for MRT. One of the MA says we can lodge offshore RSMS application without going for MRT. Please advise if it's true. Thank you in advance.
  10. Hello all, I was granted a PR visa in March 2014. I got married while waiting for my visa decision, so could not include my wife in my application. As soon as I arrived we lodged 309/100 in April. I know it will take a while to be granted. We have our wedding anniversary in November. So I applied for family sponsored visitor visa, which has been rejected. As I am not reasonably settled as PR. I am looking at applying for visitor visa, not family sponsored again. i am desperate about your valuable suggestions. thanks a lot in advance.
  11. Hi CPAivy, I already applied for 309/100 3 months ago. We have our wedding anniversary in November, so applied for family sponsored visitor visa. But it's been rejected as I am not reasonably settled in Australia. In their terms sponsor has to be here as PR for 2 years to be able to sponsor someone.
  12. Hello guys, i have applied for family sponsored visitor visa for my wife recently. They refused it on the grounds that as sponsor I am not eligible since it's not been 2 years as a PR. I am looking at applying for visitor visa. Any suggestions? also, being refused for a visa, will it have any impact on visitor visa we will lodge or even 309/100 lodged in April this year? any suggestions very much appreciated. thank you.
  13. Hi All, I am currently on 187 visa in victoria. I am looking at sponsoring my brother and have come across 489 visa. I have few questions regarding this, I would appreciate your response. 1) As 187 visa holder will I be eligible to sponsor my brother? 2) My brother's occupation is on CSOL, however not on Victoria state occupation list, will he still be able to apply provided he gets his skills assessment done? Thank you in advance.
  14. Hi Philip, Thank you so much for the reply.

  18. hi there, I have been granted 187 PR visa recently. While I had been waiting offshore i got married, so was not able to include my wife in my application. However i notified department of change in my marital status. Now i want to apply visa for my wife too, presuming 309-100 is the right path. My question is, can I apply visa for my wife even though I haven't gone to Oz yet. my idea is to apply visa for her before I fly. any suggestions from experts please.

  22. As far as I know skills assessment is not required for applicants that have Australian qualifications relevant to the nominating occupation/position. if your nomination occupation is not relevant to your qualifications, but have sufficient experience then you might need skills assessment and/or you have overseas qualifications relevant to nominating occupation which you will claim for your nomination.
  23. Hi Carnie97442, I am outside Australia, i can see that the number available on website is for callers from in Australia. So probably i can't make a phone call to them. I just have to followup with my MA.
