is there any particular number other than the one on website? My MA isn't telling anything, however I can see the status "In progress" when I check it online.

Hello guys, any idea of what Melbourne PSE upto? My DRC application was lodged 26 weeks ago. No news yet.

Hi Manoj, I applied in June too, Melb DRC aplication, haven't heard anything yet. I haven't got 2 years experience either. However my MA told that my masters degree in Oz uni will do for 187 application.

Yes my 485 application was refused.

I have got several opportunities, however all the roles I had been offered were critical to the company and they asked me to sign 3 years contract and they will retain my original documents until my contract ends. I thought it would be difficult to get out of it if I get my visa approved before that.

Hi Blossom it's a long story. Making it short....I completed my Masters there in OZ, while waiting for a 485 decision I got a fulltime job where I was offered sponsorship too. Before they apply for RSMS, a decision was made on my 485 which was negative. I had only 21 days to go for MRT or 28 days to depart. My RSMS visa was lodged without going for MRT, So the application turned out to be an invalid one. I had neither bridging visa nor 28 days time. I came back home, my company lodged 187 again while i am offshore. That's how I don't have job now.

If that is the case, I may withdraw my application. It's already been 14 months for me without a job waiting for the visa. :sad:

Congrats Mate....was worth the wait. Don't know what's happening with DIAC, haven't seen a grant since long even though RSMS visas are on 1st priority.

No strange.....My first one was couple of years ago. I was heading back to Melbourne from Bendigo around 4.30 pm......Just past the bendigo town, towards keyneton, Banggggg......I didn't realize I hit a roo until I pulled my car over about 50 meters from the spot. front bumper has smashed completely. When I went to the mechanic the very next day to get my car fixed...he told me a story, don't know how true it is......Arrogant roos (usually wild ones) sometimes hit the cars intentionally, break the wind screens....and very rarely they even kill humans.....they don't like light coming off the head lamps...it seems......

You are not alone mate. I have been waiting since july 2012, my application ha been lodged in June 2013 though. similarly they started compiling documentation since july 2012. I spent big dollars (AUD 50k) for masters. No news yet. worst thing is i am offshore.....this waiting sucks....have been offered several excellent jobs in home country, but could not commit to them since waiting for the visa.

Hi I think, from 1st July 2013 you can no longer apply for 887 subclass. As they introduced 187 whether offshore or onshore you have to lodge only 187. I wonder how would you be able to lodge 887 in mid july 2013?

Hi SonicBlue82, I am so sorry to hear this. I know how long have you been waiting for decision on your application, this really upsets to end up with lemon, however be patient I have heard a few cases won at MRT. Get out of all the stress, you will be fine for sure. All the best...

Hi Tee, My friend's 187 application has been lodged sometime in dec 2012. He want's to add his partner to his application now. Does he have to pay additional charges? There was some webpage under fees section for 119 or 887 but not for 187. any advise please?

anyone has idea about caretaker period? Immi facebook page has posted they are now operating caretaker period. has it got anything to do with visas or just about their updates on facebook?? what's happening?

Thanks Snifter, ya I have checked...they say it's 12 months....but they have never been as good as their words.
