  1. Hey everyone, Wanted to give a quick update on my timeline for anyone in Adelaide. Applied Feb 18, application was in 'Received' but I was sent a test invite on August 30 for this morning. Completed the test and interview and the application immediately went to Approved. Now just to wait for the ceremony. Good luck to those waiting, especially in Vic. I hope you're coping with the lockdown and I hope the numbers keep dropping so you can get back to some sort of normality.
  2. Looks like they've opened up a few of the offices: Applying for citizenship New applications for Australian citizenship are being accepted. In-person citizenship appointments and tests normally conducted by Services Australia in regional locations remain on hold. Details for the resumption of these services will be updated as information becomes available. Currently, in-person citizenship appointments are available at: Department of Home Affairs office, Adelaide SA Department of Home Affairs office, Brisbane QLD Department of Home Affairs office, Parramatta NSW Department of Home Affairs office, Perth WA
  3. Hey guys, long time lurker (actually since I applied for a partner visa back in 2010!) I was very fortunate to receive my visa grant this morning but I was never on the spreadsheet so wanted to update here. 186 TRT Occupation: IT Customer Support LR 1 Applicant Applied: Feb 16th 2018 Granted: Nov 23rd 2018 i actually have no idea when the nomination was approved because work used a migration agent who were going to contact me when approved I assume that it must have been approved together I know I haven’t waited as long as some so I just want to wish you all good luck! Also because it’s been a hot topic I uploaded form 80 yesterday because I didn’t want to have any delays if it was needed.
  4. So I received my notice of grant today! I sent my app on the 20th of June, money was taken on the 21st and I received confirmation on the 26th so that's about 5 months and 1 week. Now to try and get an affordable flight to NZ to validate!
  5. I went to the Whalley Range clinic. It was £260 for everything which was the cheapest out of all the clinics I called. The staff were really nice and friendly and it was done in about 40 minutes. I would definitely recommend it.
  6. So I got an email from my CO today (MT) and I've just had my meds and police checks requested. Going for my medical tomorrow, already have my UK police check and hopefully the Aus one will arrive soon and I can get it all squared away, get the nod and start planning the big move!
  7. Hello all, I've just sent my application off today after having been a lurker on this site for a long time I thought I may as well 'fess up. I've already remembered one thing I forgot to complete....the checklist at the end of the form. Now my mind is racing with thoughts that that's not the only thing etc etc. I've never been so paranoid!
