  2. not sure on WA SS processing times. But if you have a look here: http://www.pomsinoz.com/forum/migration-issues/156842-wa-ss-any-news.html this is the WA SS thread, maybe other applicants might know and can give you a better answer?
  3. it changes every month and yes sys admin is still there. I applied November 2012. No acknowledgement yet. But they take 4-8 weeks processing time. last updated Dec 14 2012 http://www.business.nsw.gov.au/__data/assets/pdf_file/0019/25147/Occupations-Sponsored-by-NSW-2012-20121214.pdf
  4. Baring in mind that the offices are closed for Xmas/New years, I have yet to receive NSW acknowledgement that they have received my application...
  5. and does the skills assessment EXPIRE? I am asking this for a friend who wishes to get his skills assessment done WITHIN Australia (if that matters)?
  6. many people on here have gone with GO MATILDA http://www.gomatilda.com/
  7. Go to a MARA to get advice on your long term plans. If you ask others here to give their reasons on why this won't work or that won't work and they don't give any reason's just ignore them and go about your day/business! Seriously.
  8. This is on the to do list IF we move to Sydney next year
  9. 2nd installment is only for those dependent's where their English is less than competent.
  10. DS. Recruiting is slow right now during the Christmas and new year period. But keep trying and don't let your age get to you. If you have the skills and the persistence to keep applying for jobs out there, you'll get one!
  11. yikes, you can always hope and pray. If it goes into special conditions, then I dunno....maybe apply next year as soon as they come out with the new list. There is no other state with your occupation on the list?
  12. do you or did you get to keep your UK DL? Or did you or do you have to surrender it?

dump your agent and get a new one.
  17. Hello and welcome to PIO What ever agent you do decide to use make sure that they are a Registered Migration agent Also, what is your current occupation?
  18. Are you willing to use a different MARA agent to assist you with getting your Vetassess reassessed? Or are you wanting to go and do it alone?
  19. I think 15 pts for a Bachelors OR Masters....i;m not sure At least a Bachelor degree, including a Bachelor degree with Honours or Masters, from an Australian educational institution or other degree of a recognised standard http://www.immi.gov.au/skilled/general-skilled-migration/pdf/points-tested-migration-fact-sheet.pdf
  20. I re-read your post. There should be no problem with which passport you decide to use. Mine is similar. born in UK (have UK passport) other citizenship I have is US (married to an American). I wouldn't worry about your Brazilian passport (renew now if you like - i mean renew now if it's easier than renewing it from Oz).
  21. does your partner have a positive skills assessment in the SAME SOL that your occupation lies in?
  22. "You can access information about the progress of your online application at any time following lodgement. You will need to use your unique Transaction Reference Number (TRN) to do this."
  23. The Child visa costs $2,060 http://www.immi.gov.au/allforms/pdf/990i0812.pdf page 5 and I think it takes a good couple of months to process.
  24. documents don't need to be certified if you are uploading and attaching COLOR copies. If you are scanning and uploading black and white copies, then yes they will need to be certified. But not for color. Once you get your CO assigned, I think that's when you have your TRN number needed to apply and book your medicals. Have you already applied for your India PCC yet (not sure how long it takes).
