  1. ok, so you have work references, correct? Do you have your degree certificate from your university also (it's either a yes or no answer).

  4. Just a thought, but you're not too old to change careers... Not sure about Trade work in Aus or UK but here in US, IT and Medical field are stable careers.

  7. You are fine. But just note that you do not want to falsely claim any points that you cannot prove cause that will be an automatic denial. e.g. claiming you have studied in Australia but have no proof of this ( I read it a few times here on the forum). Take your IELTS and then adjust your points accordingly in your EOI. Hope that helps.
  8. it hit the 8 week mark on Jan 20, so another 3-4 weeks yes I am HOPING for at least the ACKNOWLEDGMENT from NSW. But when i called NSW the guy told me they are still processing early November applications.
  9. NSW are still assessing early November apps. Still got a few more weeks to go before they start processing mid november apps! ugh
  10. easier said than done, it depends on ones occupation. for example, my occupation systems administrator is on the CSOL, therefore I cannot apply for 189, I have to apply for SS from NSW or any other state that has my occupation on their State Migration Plan.

  13. first of all, sorry you got this from your CO second of all, I know I didn't claim points for Australian study because I Know I didn't study in Australia.....I don't see how others can get confused by this part???
  14. yep they're being flooded with applications everyday, busy busy! it used to be 4-6 weeks for a result, then 8 weeks, and now it's 10 weeks for acknowledgement and/or a result.
  15. yeh, they are still assessing Nov 5th applications now. so for them to start processing Nov 20 applications (which was the date I submitted my application) give or take they'll start processing it around end of Jan or early Feb. i will contact them again end of Jan to ask and see if they have started looking at mid November applications.
  16. Yeh, if it's one thing I hate, it's WAITING....tick tock tick tock... all good. I think some people get acknowledgements but not all. My 10 weeks will be end of Jan/early Feb. i sent mine off Nov 20, Auspost delivered on Nov 23rd.

  19. they are still processing first week of November applications, Spoke to a lady yesterday. I sent mine on Nov 20, so I have a few more weeks before they start to process mid november applications. 10 weeks processing they told me.
  20. nope. I called them yesterday, but the lady i spoke to didn't have me on her list (so must be with someone else). they are still processing early Nov applications. Expect to heatr back in 10 weeks. when did you send yours off?
