Havent you been assigned your CO yet? I had mine within days!! Hope you get it soon mate. I have submitted everything except my police check from the UK, but have showed my CO proof I have applied for the PC's from both the UK and Oz. She said there should be no problems and visa should be here by feb 16th at latest!! (god knows why that date though tbh!) Good luck everyone!!!

I am currently in oz on a toursit visa whilst waiting for my 189 visa to come through. I can stay on a bridging visa, and as far as I gather its the same for the 190. Better check though. Good luck

I had mine yesterday here in Perth. Doctor said if theres no contact from them its good news. They will inform immigration when the result of blood test is through Good luck

Had medical yetsreday. All good, waiting for HIV results next week and thats that done. Police checks from both the UK and Australia ordered.

Thats what I got after reading the terms and conditions, and was told on the phone. I will check again just to make sure, but a sfar as I gather I'm entitle to work after my tourist visa expires. (awaiting 189 visa)

I seen you could start the medical online first, and then finalising it in person. Is this correct? Could anyone direct me to a link in where to get started for the visa? It says though, that this way of dstarting the medical can only be done BFORE you start the application?

Hi Folks. Just away to book my police checks. is it the ACRO for the scots aswell? I thought I'd seen previous that the scottish may have to get something else ? And Ive travelled and stayed in Australia for 2 years within the last 10years. Does that mean I need a police check from here also? (im in oz at the moment) cheers
